In general, most ace suits license missions will become available to you once you are friendly with their pilot, but there are a few exceptions with extra requirements such as the Musha Gundams, which will be explained below.

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding MS licenses in Mission mode:

Char's Z'Gok: Have a good relationship with Char, and successfully complete his second license mission.

Char's Zaku: Have a good relationship with Char, and successfully complete his first license mission.

Destiny Gundam: Successfully complete Shinn's Story mode missions, and have a good relationship with him. Then, complete his license mission.

God Gundam(AKA Burning Gundam): Have a good relationship with Domon, and successfully complete his license mission.

Gundam: Have a good relationship with Amuro, and successfully complete both his license missions.

Gundam Epyon: Have a good relationship with Milliardo, and successfully complete his license mission.

Gundam F91: Successfully complete Seabook's Story mode missions, and have a good relationship with him. Then, complete his license mission.

Gundam MK-II AUEG and Titans: Have a good relationship with Kamille, and successfully complete both his license missions.

Gundam Wing Zero: Have a good relationship with Heero, and successfully complete his license mission.

Hyaku Shiki: Have a good relationship with Char, and successfully complete both his license missions.

Infinite Justice Gundam: Successfully complete his Story mode mission, and have good relationship with him. Then, complete his license mission.

Master Gundam: Get God Gundam's(AKA Burning Gundam) license. Have a good relationship with Master Asia, and successfully complete his license mission.

Nu Gundam: Unlock all UC licenses, and have very good relationship with Amuro. Then, complete his license mission.

Quebeley (Haman): Have a good relationship with Haman, and successfully complete her license mission.

Quebeley (Puru/Puru Two): Have a good relationship with Puru and Puru Two, and successfully complete their license mission.

Sazabi: Have Char's Zaku, Char's Z'Gok, and Hyaku Shiki's licenses. Have a very good relationship with Char, and successfully complete both his license missions.

Strike Freedom Gundam: Successfully complete Kira's Story mode missions, and have good relationship with him. Then, complete his license mission.

The O: Have a good relationship with Scirocco, and successfully complete his license mission.

Then there's the Musha Gundams. Here's how to make them even appear and then afterwards get access to their license missions:

(Note: the below method is the traditional way to get their licenses. Much easier way to get it, after completing the requirements to make them appear at all which are detailed below, is to just complete the download mission "Focus!!!". This gets you both licenses at once. It's a timed countdown mission where you boost your time left with every 100 enemies killed and have to kille 8 or 10 aces which seem to appear after clearing a field, afterwhich the musha twins appear and you must kill them. You start with 3min on teh clock and killing 100 enemies adds about 25sec so this was the best way to do it, I found: It was too easy really- I ended up with FOUR minutes remaining I killed enemies so fast. Use the Turn A with at least snipe and biocomputer attached. Then the key is to use impulse and overdrive pilot skills and I'd recommend ace pilot as the third pilot skill. You can just spam your combination SP on fields of enemies and because of impulse if you set it on easy you will instantly kill entire fields and refill your SP bar most of the way every time you fire. It's cheesy as hell. In the same vein, wait till enemy aces are moving thru a cluster of enemies and throw your bomb on them and they will crumple and sometimes instantly die due to all the impulse hits exploding around them. Just run around throwing nukes until all the pilots have spawned then turn around and start killing them, dont go back for them each time- keep killing grunts to pad your clock. On easy setting with this setup this mission should be a cinch and probably is a good 4 hours or more quicker than doing the regular license mission tree for the mushas. And trust me- the mushas are BEASTS. Musha mk. ii's air SP is so satisfying it should be illegal, and regular Musha's ground SP is so brutal I really feel sorry for the pilots I hit with it. It's just way over the top.)

For Musha Gundam, shoot down 5000 or more enemies total with any specific character, clear the Free Mission that appears to commemorate the feat. This will allow the Musha Gundam to appear randomly in missions. For the liscense, clear stages of 1-6 of the Remembering the Past Free Missions, which appear after you've cleared the 5000 kills commemorative mission. Doing so will open up Musha Gundam's License Mission, but do note that all 6 of the Remembering the Past Missions have friendship requirements (you can unlock those missions either way, but you can't play them if you don't meet the requirements).

For Musha Gundam Mk. II, first meet the requirements for Musha Gundam above and then unlock the commemorative mission for having cleared 50 or more missions with your chosen character. This will trigger the Musha 2 to randomly appear in mission mode. Clear that mission and you'll also open up stage 7 of the Remembering the Past Free Missions. Clear this stage (you'll be allowed to play it as long as you've cleared Remembering the Past 1-6) and you'll unlock Musha Gundam Mk. II's License Mission.
