How to unlock the Nostalgic achievement

Note: You do come across anniversary events during Career, but it's possible to skip them. You can do them as a separate game mode however:

From the main WRC menu, go to Anniversary Events and pick the first one - 1973.

It's one special stage in the Renault Alpine, and you have quite a large margin for error to beat the given time.

With no assists and my first attempt, with no prior knowledge of the special stage or car, I beat the target time by a full 20 seconds - and I fell off a cliff once and had to be reset.

At the end of the race, your achievement will unlock.

WTF... I tried this one in career and I was over 20 seconds behing target time. Didn't crash or anything... are the target times different outside career? In career, this event had a target time of 6 min 54 secons. EDIT: I tried this now multiple times in Anniversary mode and I have to say, target time is really difficult, at least if you're like me who is using gamepad! My best time so far is 7 min 6 seconds and there's not much I can do to improve it any further...

Just do it in career and beat the target times. They are pretty straightforward. Easy.

These Anniversary events are nothing but easy... I've tried now multiple ones and not managed to win even one, not even get anywhere near target times! I don't understand how anyone can say that these are "easy"...
