How to unlock the Misconception achievement

    Actions
    These are found in or around the red zones dominated by Infected.
    They can be spotted on top of buildings nearby flocks of crows circling them. Target the water tower with LT and use your Whipfist attack (Y) to take them down.

    If you choose to attack them up close and suddenly find yourself doing battle with a Hunter, then that means you were too slow and the water tower hatched before you could destroy it - this does not count.

    If you have successfully destroyed the tower before it hatches, you will gain a bunch of EP immediately, the tower will explode yielding yellow orbs, and you will see a corpse of a dead Hunter.

    edit: also very easily done after you gain access to hijack helicopters (mission 16)

    Actions
    The best way to do this is to hijack a helicopter and go to an infected area. Keep trying to lock-on to water towers to look for them and just use the missles and machine gun to destroy them because if you get close enough they will erupt and hunters will spawn.

    You can also tell which ones are infected becasue the infected ones are attached to the roof and not on support beams and they also are red and infected-looking at the bottom.

    ArachnicideThis is the best method and fastest. Use upgraded infected vision to make it even easier to spot towers in the zone.

    The best time to go and do this achievement is after you gain infected vision because when it is turned on, the infected water towers will glow white when your close to them and a bright red when your far away.
    Combine this with a helicopter and you have a really easy way to find and destroy them.
