A quick way to get these is doing the campaign A Land in Chaos and instead of picking Officer pick Ruler. Then pick three others that you need to use for their achievements and set them as your Officers. Then pick a country to start in.
As ruler your first act is to step down, bringing all of your officers along with you. Then it is time to pick a mission. I used a combination of Flame Tigers (fast and simple) and Jin Fan Pirates (longer but more fun. used for characters I wanted to try more in depth). Before starting add the other characters to the list of fighting characters, they may help a little and just maybe one may level up making it the slightest easier for you later with them.
After you win the mission save your game and get your first achievement and then End the month. Next month start a mission again but before starting remove the character you need to use, swap them for the current first character, and then put the old first character back into the fighting list.
Repeat this until you have gone through all four characters, saving after every battle. Once you are done with all four quit back to the Main Menu and start again back at the top.

    Notes:
-If you have done a campaign then instead of doing new game say continue and pick the newest clear file and add things to help you like extra money to grab an ability or to upgrade weapons, or to keep your horses to help move faster.
-Some times you can get a new person to join your crew if you do all of the side missions during a mission. It takes more time and most of the time it isn't a Musou character, but if you recognize the name of character giving you the mission as someone you need to finish a mission with you can give it a try.

Requirement: Win a battle as Sun Quan, then save your game after the battle.

    Walkthrough:

    - Select Empire Mode. Put it on Easy mode to speed things up.

    - Select Sun Quan and choose your level. You'll want to pick a level where your character is not a Ruler because Mercenary Missions are only available to Officers. If you're having trouble, the A Land in Chaos scenario lets you pick whether you're a Ruler or Officer no matter what character you choose.

    - Once you're at the Empire map screen, select Battle, then Mercenary, then Flame Tigers. In this battle you just need to defeat the six "officer" Flame Tigers. Find one on your map, kill the one with a name over their head, wait for a moment, kill the second tiger that spawns in the area, wait again, and then kill the larger third tiger that finally spawns. Continue to the second set of tigers and do the same thing to end the mission.

    - Save your game by selecting System, then Save at the Empire mode map menu, and the achievement should unlock.

You can use this same method to unlock every character achievement in this game.

    Young Tiger:
Cleared by completing a battle as Sun Quan

You can either start a new game with Sun Quan and finish one battle or you can recruit him and switch out your main character for Sun Quan to get the achievement.

This achievement will only unlock after you save your game.
