    On the planet selection screen you will see a sonic head, this is where the levels are for the chaos emerald.

    You need to collect red rings to unlock the levels

    Each chaos emerald requires 3 levels to complete. There easy arcade looking levels and you just need to simply reach the end, don't worry about score or timings.
