After getting to the first island after collecting the fireworks. Continue on until you collect Rodrigo. You then head back to Friendo, get in and sit at the dock for a few seconds.

After collecting the 12 fireworks and the cutscene that follows, you'll be able to drive Friend-Ship to the next area. Once you get to the next island (where you get Rodrigo), just stand on the dock with Friend-Ship in your view. If you can see the musical notes coming from the ship, you're set. Wait for 5 seconds, and you'll get the achievement.

And you're on the second island, right? I stood next to the ship for a few minutes in the first area, when it was docked next to the little amusement park, and nothing happened. I had to progress the story just a bit to get to the next location.

I had to get in the ship beside the dock and just idle for it to pop for some reason. Standing on the dock did nothing.

it popped after I updated and restarted the game, so maybe just buggy
