How to unlock the Popcorn achievement

    The Microwave Cannon (or X-43 MIKE as it's called in-game) is a close-range, high-damage weapon that is particularly effective against Ceph.

    The earliest opportunity that you have to find on is in Mission 9, "Dark Heart", in a subway tunnel shortly before reaching the mission's main objective. The MIKE comes with 500 ammo and kills quickly, however you can not replenish its ammo at ammo boxes.

    The small, insect-like creatures scattering about through the subway tunnels in this mission count, so kill as many of those as you can with the MIKE and otherwise keep it on hand for Ceph Stalkers. You can get all 20 kills needed within a single MIKE.

    KACHRIS 123Anybody else having problems with this achievement not tracking. I have 68 kills when I check the weapon stats but only 4 showing on the tracker.. !!!!

    RDSCumulative achievements don't exactly play nice with checkpoints.

    Xbox BrofileCurrently bugged for me too. Got to 95% and then it just stopped tracking. I've quit the game, turned the console off and on, restarted checkpoint - all the usual stuff - but nothing. The stats in-game say I have 97 kills with it.

    Hopefully it just pops randomly whilst I'm doing my supersoldier playthrough.

    UPDATE: Like a lot of people, I deleted all data (local and cloud) then started the game again, played all the way to Dark Heart in one session (you can fly through on the easiest difficulty, takes between 1 and 2 hours). Got the weapon, got 20 kills, then the achievement unlocked.

    Reaper R66This achievement glitched for me at 80%. After getting all other achievements, I did the following:
    1. Delete save data locally and from cloud.
    2. Uninstall/reinstall Crysis 2.
    3. Rush through the campaign on the easiest difficulty until reaching 'Dark Heart'.
    4. Pick-up the X-43 and shoot the little insect things in the tunnel.
    5. Kill all Ceph enemies after this point (minus the tank enemies) without dying or reloading checkpoints.

    Doing this caused my tracker to resume after my 17th kill and the achievement popped shortly after. It took about an hour or so for me to rush straight to this level.
