Ok for this achievement you need to use a Magic Lens on each and every one of the enemys in the game.
There are a total of 364 enemys in the game. There are:
    116 Human Types,
    53 Beast Types,
    37 Bird Types,
    39 Magic Types,
    24 Plant Types,
    29 Aquatic Types,
    30 Insect Types,
    20 Inorganic Types,
    16 Scale Types.

Note: Some of these enemys only appear at certain points of the game so make sure you always carry Magic Lens around with you and scan everything as you progress. (If you push RB during a battle, you will see the enemys name. If you have used a Lens on this enemy before it will show you its HP aswell as its name. If you push RB and you only see the enemys name, you need to use a Magic Lens).
Also, Some bosses need to be scanned more than once whilst fighting them. I will not name them just to avoid spoilers. But usually if you are fighting a boss and you get a cutscene during the battle, push RB when you regain control and see if you can see the enemys HP. If not then you need to use a another Magic Lens.

Hope this helps you all out ! :D

Dazeldorffv2Something that helped it go a bit quicker was when Repede learned Scanning, it makes a bar appear above the enemies letting you know how much health they have left, but only after you have used a Magic Lens on them, eliminating the need to hold RB when you enter a fight.

Vargold37as a side note, to collect all the 'memory' mosters in the labyrinth, you need to have beaten all the giganto monsters first, i believe. otherwise you cannot access two of the paths.

QuiGonBlue06Can someone help me with this? I have found every monster, scanned all of them, yet nothing is unlocking. I have had no scene pop up even though I have gone to Capua Nor several times. Any else had this issue?

Solution above is great, just want to add a quick note:

When you fight a monster in battle, it goes into the Monster Book. However, despite being listed, if you have not scanned the monster with a lens, the log is incomplete.

So you may find at the end that you have the same numbers listed above in Tiptiop's solution (116 human enemies, etc.) but if the achievement hasn't unlocked you may be missing data in the log from enemies you have fought but not scanned.

Go through every monster entry and if you see any '???' in the monster's stats, it means you need to go back and scan it.

The achievement unlocks during the battle, as soon as you scan your last enemy - so if it doesn't unlock, check each monster entry in the book and see if you have the stats.

Sniper JZA80Thankyou so much for this update! I had the same number listed and was spewing as I didn't know what I'd done wrong, but this will make it so much easier to figure it out! Thanks again

Sir LumboHahaha yeah, I panicked a bit too. My last scan was Pteropus in the dungeon, forgot he split into the 4 different types of bat.

    Hope you get it!
