How to unlock the Do It Yourself achievement

    This achievement requires you to put a "new" mod in each slot in a Resolver weapon. The Resolver weapons are all in the first section of the Arsenal window, and can be purchased from Juan or one of his arms dealers on the map using depleted uranium, which you get from taking out the Anti-Aircraft (AA) guns on the map.

    If you're just going for the achievement, choose a weapon that has only three mod slots (I used the La Clavadora harpoon gun, and only one mod is available for each slot).

    Once you've replaced the default mod in each slot, the achievement should pop. This achievement is not missable, as it can be obtained post-story in free roam.

    Also, I did not check to see if you could dashboard the game once the achievement popped but before getting out of the menus, so you could save your resources for something else if you wanted. If someone could verify this, I'll update the solution.

    feel the pain23The la clavadora is a resolver weapon, unsure to why you are saying it isn't.
    When you go to the workbench, the resolver weapons is the first set of weapons on the far left side.

    TheIcemanComethI wasn't saying the La Clavadora wasn't a Resolver weapon. Please read it again. The La Clavadora was the weapon I did use to get the achievement. I was saying weapon the other commenter was using wasn't a Resolver weapon (the AS VAL).

    Go to the workbench
    Select the Tostador
    Add all 3 mods
