How to unlock the Altitude Adjustment achievement

Eye of Hurricane costs 3 skill points and is Star Lords ability where he spirals up into the air, lobbing several grenades below dealing moderate damage.

This is activated in battle using the cn_LSc + cn_B

You want to get a bunch of enemies to about 20% health before using this ability for it to defeat them. Checkpoints can be reloaded to farm this out.

    Warning:
As mentioned in the forums some achievements seem to stop tracking either between selecting new game plus, or using the additional in game save slots, so finish this achievement off as soon as you can.

A solution that worked for me with a stuck tracker:
TLDR - Complete all other achievements, Delete save data, start new game, unlock hurricane ability, took me to first bunch of enemies in chapter 4 to do this.

I was stuck on 85% for the Altitude Adjustment, I had used all 3 save slots and played through most of new game plus to mop up the rest of the achievements, and was unable to progress this achievement.

I decided to delete my save both local and cloud from the manage game and add-ons menu on the Xbox dashboard. Then started a fresh playthrough.

I played up to one but last fight of chapter 3 to unlock the hurricane skill as you have to spend 1 point on the first ability and save 3 more for the hurricane skill. Then decided to play further into chapter 4 on the Rocket path for more enemies and the achievement started tracking again and unlocked at the first available fight using save reloads.

PiMaC1985So for me even tho the achievement seemed to be unlocked in my activity feed, it still wasnt in the achievement menu.

I had to delete my save and restart a playthrough and do 20 more kills (stopped tracking at 95%) and only then it popped for real

    Thanks!!

The best place to do this that I've found is in Chapter 8. It's not the only place with infinite enemy spawns, but it's far enough into a first play-through that you should have all the abilities needed. After you go through the red fluid, you come into a room with endless guards while Rocket's drone opens the door. You can stay here as long as you like.

Assuming the ability has been unlocked, this is a great place to get this achievement. About 5-8 guards will appear in groups as you kill them. Shoot a few of them to about 50% health, use Rocket's Gravistack Grenade to cluster them all together, and then standing near the enemy cluster, unleash Eye of the Hurricane. You'll have to wait for the powers to recharge but I did it in about 10 minutes.

It's also a great place to get the Bullet Hell achievement if you don't have it yet.
