How to unlock the You Could Say I'm a Fan achievement

    The only possible manufacturers are currently:
    - Chevrolet
    - Ferrari
    - Ford
    - Porsche

    The manufacturer bonus only unlocks when you own ALL CARS for that manufacturer. So, if you choose FORD, you'll need all 58.

    By far the easiest, and cheapest will be Chevrolet, which has 26 total cars, although 1 is rewarded through the Car Collection menu. The other manufacturers end up being way more expensive and rely on rarer cars through wheelspins.

    You should be able to buy 23 of the cars from the Autoshow for approximately 1.4M credits. A few others must be rewarded through wheelspins, accolades, or purchased from the Auction House for additional CR.

    iN5ANE 5COTTYThe above method worked for me (3rd Sept 2023). I collected Chevrolets and it popped when I reached 25 cars.

    I already had 5 cars, so needed 20 more. Being a cheapskate, I used the auction house to buy the remaining 20 cars which cost me around 600k credits and 2 hours of my time (I bid on numerous cars before bed and managed to win a few overnight).

    GoyetteQCHow does it work with dlc and seasonal reward cars? Just got the 1953 Corvette FE through a super wheelspin which was my 25th, then unlocked the 1960 Corvette but the accolade/achievement didn't unlock.

    Meng9610This achivement only requires unlock 25 cars from the same manufacturer , and you have to reclaim the achivement unlocking prize in the Car Collection in your garage.

    It is not definitively known if you need the Factory Fresh accolade as a prerequisite to get the achievement to unlock, but I recommend unlocking it beforehand if you can just in case. Comments on the top solution have stated that they were able to unlock the achievement without it.

    To earn this achievement, you need to unlock/purchase all cars from a single manufacturer with more than 25 cars. Maka91 has provided a guide to doing this with some recommendations on which cars to go for, but for this achievement to unlock, I believe you actually need to unlock the in-game accolade of the same name (Accolades > Discovery & Collections > Car Collection). The "You Could Say I'm a Fan" accolade is the bottom one in the second column, but it is not available to earn from the start. To unlock it, you have to complete the "Factory Fresh" accolade (4th row down, 4th column), which requires you to earn 15 manufacturer bonuses. This sounds harder than it actually is, as there are many manufacturers that only have one or two cars. Some of the ones I would recommend for "Factory Fresh" that only have one car that can be purchased for <100,000 credits each are:
    • American Motors 1973 Gremlin X (35k CR)
    • Austin-Healey 1958 Sprite MKI (20k CR)
    • Can-Am 2018 Maerick X RS Turbo R (25k CR)
    • Caterham 2013 Superlight R500 (82k CR)
    • Datsun 1970 510 (25k CR)
    • Infinity 2015 Q60 Concept (50k CR)
    • International 1970 Scout 800A (40k CR)
    • Local Motors 2014 Rally Fighter (100k CR)
    • Morgan 2014 3 Wheeler (50k CR)
    • Opel 1984 Manta 400 (100k CR)
    • Penhall 2011 The Cholla (100k CR)
    • Polaris 2015 RZR XP 1000 EPS (25k CR)
    • Ram 2017 2500 Power Wagon (47k CR)
    • Reliant 1972 Supervan III (35k CR)
    • SIERRA Cars 2021 RX3 (45k CR)
    • VUHL 2017 05RR (100k CR)
    • Willys 1945 MB Jeep (40k CR)
    Of course, you can choose any manufacturer if you already have most/all of the cars, but starting from nothing you can purchase 15 of these 17 for 719k CR.

    As mentioned by Maka91, the only possible manufacturers that have at least 25 cars currently are:
    • Chevrolet (cheapest option)
    • Ferrari (expensive)
    • Ford (a LOT of cars, but most have lower cost for each one)
    • Porsche (expensive)
    BMW has 26 cars, but because the bonus unlocks when you get your 24th car, it will not unlock the achievement

    This is only achievable by four manufacturers, which are:

    - Chevrolet
    - Ferrari
    - Ford
    - Porsche

    The cheapest option would be Chevrolet, which only costs $1,400,000 CR to buy from the Autoshow. You can also use the Auction House to reduce costs, provided you can find one cheaper of the said cars.

    Aside from the Forza Edition of the C1 Corvette (1960), two other Corvettes cannot be found in the Autoshow. The Corvette ZR-1 (C3) is the most expensive of the Chevrolets, which may cost a million or more to buy from the Auction House, unless you find it in the Forzathon Shop, Seasonal events, or being lucky to pull one from a Wheelspin, so buy the said Corvette first and if you are low on credits or not interested in it, you can sell it back to the Auction House for roughly a million credits. It will still count as having been obtained regardless of being auctioned or discarded, while the Corvette ZR1 (C7) can be won by banking a 1,000,000 skill chain.
