  This achievement is story related, and should unlock while progressing through the campaign. For further details, see below.
  
  

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Near the end of the second mission, "Foundation" you should find yourself in a room full of rotating boxes with blue figures on them. Once you get to the middle of the room, you should be prompted to interact with a terminal, and a cutscene will play once you do. After this cutscene ends, the achievement will unlock!

  This one didn't unlock for me either. Luckily it'll be a quick one to get on a second playthrough.

  I was in the middle of playing another game when I got this. That's a first for me.
  
  So I'm sure it will show up retroactively for others who it glitched on.

  At the end of mission 1, a cutscene will take place.

  I'm over halfway done with the story and I never got this either... along with several other achievements I should have by now that never popped

  This unlocked just fine for me. The achievements seem to be glitched for a lot of people
