  VERY MINOR SPOILERS -
  
  Early on you will find a dead spartan. Pick up their armor core. From here, progress the open work normally but avoid the main objective. Find nearby Armor Cores and collect them. You can mark your map for easy navigation.
  
  You’ll need to find 9 total armor cores to fully upgrade each ability, including the shields.
  
  Update 12/11/21 - Yes, this achievement is bugged, I am aware. The ONLY fix I am aware of is basically scorched earth, so I suggest you only do this if absolutely necessary. First, delete ALL save data, local and online. This will wipe ALL progress you have made in Campaign but not in Multiplayer. The re-attempt the achievement. I am sorry that this is the only option right now but It's not our fault as fans that the game is in a bugged state .

  Completed this just now (14th Dec) but didn't unlock.
  
  Edit: Logged a ticket through the Halo support portal and got a response saying investigation is currently underway for delayed achievements unlocking. Not holding my breath but not nuking my save data just yet.

  Play the game on PC instead of Xbox, Xbox sometimes buggy on unlocking achievements especially unstable network connection since 2013, and still not fixed.

  FYI looks like all my missed achievements just unlocked all at once just now, when I logged into campaign. So don't delete your save just yet.

  None of these achievements have unlocked for me. Hopefully 343 fixes these soon. I have hope.

  how do you go about selecting the other ability other than the grapple launcher because I cannot choose any of the others to improve them to the maximum while I have all the Spartan modules (xbox one)

  vinzladouille Have you progressed through the story yet? You don't get all of the abilities until a good way into the story.
  
  If you do have them, it should be as easy as pressing the "back button" aka the 2 boxes button, then navigating over to the "upgrades" tab.

  thesierra11705 yes yes I finished the story in normal mode after which I recovered all the spartans modules and audio files and impossible to select the other capacities than the grapple launcher

  @vinzladouille: Try deselecting Settings > Accessibility > Linear navigation mode. That solved the problem for me.
