  Actions

  The first skull is found in the first mission, on the right side of the red 'moving boxes' room. You can see how to get it in this video here:

  Is there a non-missable skull? One that can be found in the open world? I really just want to only get one skill for the achievement, but I don’t want to have to replay any levels.

  Okay I can confirm the Catch skull is not missable. It’s in the open world. Phew. So if anyone only wants this achievement and isn’t fussed about all skulls, just look up Catch skull. There may be easier skulls to get but Catch is a guarantee to be in the open world.

  Actions

  Mission 1 (Intro/Warship Gbraakon, Boom Skull location):
  
  While progressing through the intro mission, you will come across a room with a platform above you with several Brutes and Grunts walking around with red lighting and 3 sections of moving boxes on the right side of the room. Go to the second section of lifting boxes and ride it up to the top. The skull will be on the top crate that isn't moving to your right. To make things easier, skulls show up while doing a scan of the room so it will appear through the wall so you can see exactly where it is at.

  Is this skull one of the missable ones? Anyway to backtrack to that area? I’m in the open world area now and can see where this mission was on the map but I haven’t figured out how to get back to it.

  I don't believe it is missable just yet. As you are unable to replay specific missions, 343 has stated that they are working on it. The only way to go back to that mission is to restart a new campaign. This will change in the future. They are also working on the achievements not unlocking as well. If you have already picked up the skull and didn't get the achievement, it will unlock eventually per the Halo Support twitter.

  Mine randomly unlocked while I was grappling to get the second skull. I had already picked up the first but not the second
