if you have played FS19, you are probably dreading this achievement, and i don't blame you, but i honestly found it easier once i knew what to do.
in this game, and the barn used, you do not need to worry about water, and before starting, i would highly suggest you install the mod "
Multifruit Buying Station" from the home menu to make things alot quicker and easier. this allows you to fill up with everything you need right where you are.
find and buy a nice sized land that isn't too far from the shop (i personally chose a rectangular field).
first:
and
down to the "
Others" tab, then select "
Construction".
on one side:
to "
Animals" then [cn_A ] -->
to "
Cows" -->
again and
to select and then place the
Cow Barn (Large) to fit 80 cows.
not to close, but not too far:
to "
Buildings" then
-->
and
to "
Container" -->
and
to select and then place the "
Multifruit Buying Station".
once they are placed, run around the barn to open the two back doors, one on each side. this allows the food trailer to be driven in and the contents dumped.
next, buy or lease
five tractors (any will do),
four trailers (i personally used the Krone GX 520), and lastly, the
Veenhuis Premium Integral 30000 Slurry Tank (tools - slurry tanks - near the end of the list).
hook up the trailers and the tank to the tractors and drive each one to the field.
there is a pipe on the outside of the barn, park the slurry tank there (you will have the option to fill the tank once we get going).
with the multifruit buying station, fill one trailer with
TMR, one trailer with
STRAW, one trailer with
HAY, and the last one with
GRASS.
now, run around to the paw print and hold in
to buy some cows.
you want to buy
20 of the first, second and third breed/color - making sure to select the ones that are 18 months old. so now, you should have 60/80 cows in your barn.
take your TMR trailer, drive through the barn doors you opened, and dump the food with
+
. drive out, top up at the MBS, and repeat with the next trailer.
topping up before the trailer is empty means you don't have to reselect the option, as it automatically refills what is in the trailer.
speed up the game time to 240x or 360x.
and using
or
to toggle to the "
Animals" tab, you can check the food, health and reproduction levels and also slurry levels.
fill up the slurry tank you parked under the pipe to remove it in order to maintain reproduction levels. if the tank is full before your breeding finishes, you can either drive away and un-hinge the tank for later use or simply sell the slurry tank with the slurry inside (
and using
or
to toggle to "
Owned Items" then selecting "
Slurry Tanks") and buying another tanker.
repeat with driving the trailers for every food type inside and refilling the food, and filling the slurry tank. i found it easier to deliver each of the foods, then hop in and fill the slurry tank in that order.
this may seem like, ALOT, and i'm sorry (i originally wrote this to help my brother out), but it really isn't, and your achievement should pop once 20 cows have been born.
it took me, maybe, 10-15 minutes after the initial setup with game speed to 360x
