Achieve a streak of 100 consecutive Preemptive Strikes against enemies. When enemies appear on the field, you must quickly hit them when the Mog Clock is in the green region. If you've done it correctly the message "Great!" will appear on the screen.

You can farm these quickly by immediately pausing and selecting Retry once the battle begins, then you can hit the enemies again, and repeat. A good place to farm them is on the beach in Oerba 200 AF. There is a group of Frag Leeches and Zwerg Scandroids who are very slow moving, which makes it hard to mess up.

Doesn't look like this works on the GamePass version. I've been at it for ages and must have gotten 200+ preempative strikes in a row. I'm going to try and the old fashioned way and finish every battle when I have the time - it's a bit of a grand though.

TruthfulSkate8This is definitely not working as normal on this version, took me at least 3 hours. I tried the restart method every guide mentions for ages, and it never unlocked. I was at the starting area Bodhum, doing it against the Pulse soldier. I'm unsure if the NPCs that attack enemies had something to do with it not unlocking.
I'm also unsure if in this version, your streak is void if the meter touches the yellow area that makes up about 80% of the Mog clock.
After a couple hours not sure why it wasn't unlocking, decided to just end battles normally. The gorgonopsid wolf enemies are a huge problem and will mess up the streak easily.
I went to Oerba 200AF that has the slow enemies on the beach, that are much easier to pre-emptively strike.
After an hour of that, I messed up the meter and it hit yellow and I rage quit the game.
After loading it back up at that spot, the achievement unlocked on the FIRST battle. Which leads me to believe that Xbox Live glitched the achievement. I probably had 200-500 battles done, and if I was actually above the 100 threshold number the whole time and it refused the unlock, that would explain why it unlocked right after entering a new boot session, and doing one more. I guess I can at leat confirm that you are allowed to save your progress and reload if something goes wrong.
Also, its infuriating that the psnprofiles trophy guide said this would only take 10 minutes when thats quite literally impossible, and it took hours in my case.
