    Story Related & Can't Be Missed - Complete Chapter 1

    You will work your way through a very dark world cleaning up gunk while also being able to scan a few objects. The ones I found along my way in Chapter 1 (in chronological order) are:

    - Luminescent Shards
    - Gunk
    - Energy Fissure
    - Luminescent Crystal

    You'll work your way to an open area after crouching in a cave with the ship hovering above. Clean up the remaining gunk and you'll experience a cut scene where a tree grows.
