There are 3 optional turkey hunts that you need to complete. These will also be required when going for the Opportunistic Hunter achievement:
All the turkey hunts are found in the first 2 regions:
1) Kansas - Area 7 (area after fishing)
You will be told to go towards a fallen tree. Instead go left to the lower part of the valley where you should prompted to do the turkey hunt. For the hunt, you need to wander around this part of the valley, then find and kill 2 turkeys.
2) Idaho - Area 1When you meet the guide to hunt the Elk, he asks if you want to first do a turkey hunt. Select yes and you will need to hunt turkey from a ground blind.
3) Idaho - Area 7 (area after duck hunt)
After you kill the mountain goat, you will be told to go to the winding path. Go up the first hill towards the winding path and you should come to another open area. Go off to the right and you should be prompted to do turkey hunt where you have to pick the correct blind to hunt from. The blind you want is the one up on a small hill so that you are hunting from above the turkeys.
