As in past games, some clues will add more information/ flavor text to earlier clues you found. There are over a dozen such clues in the game, and you are bound to find a matching set at some point. What is different in this game than in the Dark Pictures games is that rather than simply adding the extra text, you have to select the clue with added info and hit A on the "!" mark that will be there. Normally they will be "?" marks but when you find the matching part it will switch to the exclamation point and when you select it the added text/ story will be revealed.
