As pointed out by a previous poster, the standard goals are not too difficult if you read the in-game instructions (at the table menu) to familiarize yourself. I'll just summarize the instructions here to give you an idea of what to do.

1. Earn 50,000 points from the three drop targets
The drop targets are located in the upper-right of the playfield, just to the right of the upper flipper. There are three possible values you can earn from knocking down all three targets, determined by which light is flashing when you strike the first target. You should be able to get this goal by just clearing all three drop targets a few times. Remember, if you don't knock down all three drop targets within a few seconds they will reset.

2. Earn the Demon
The demon lamp is located near the upper flipper and will light after you have lit all the letters in the word SORCERER. Each letter will light (stop flashing) when you hit the letter target. After the demon lamp is lit, knock down all three drop targets to earn the demon award.

3. Activate Multi-ball
This table has a two-ball multi-ball. To activate, first lock a ball by sending it up the left ramp when the green light is flashing. Activate multi-ball by sending a second ball up the ramp. I recommend getting good at activating multi-ball on this table since it can really help you achieve the other goals.

4. Earn the Extra Ball from the drop targets
There is an extra ball lamp near the upper flipper - right next to the demon lamp. After lighting the letters SORCERER, each letter will begin to flash again. After lighting SORCERER for the second time, the extra ball lamp will light and you can collect the extra ball by hitting the drop targets. This was by-far the most difficult standard goal for me so I will place most of my advice here.
First, you have to light SORCERER twice during the same ball. The demon, extra ball, and SORCERER lights all reset when you drain a ball.
Since the outlanes are so unforgiving on Sorcerer, I recommend you nudge the ball anytime it gets close to entering the far left or right of the bottom playfield. Just don't let it go near those outlanes.
The best way to help yourself stay alive long enough to hit all those letter targets is to activate multi-ball. With two balls you double your chances of hitting targets and you won't reset the targets if you drain one of the balls.

5. Score at least 1,000,000 points
You shouldn't have much trouble getting to a million points while trying to earn the other standard goals. If you earn the extra ball but still haven't achieved 1,000,000 points I would be surprised. To help yourself along, try to advance the multiplier. You can do this by lighting all 4 rollovers at the top of the table. Using multi-ball and advancing the multiplier will help you gain a lot of points.
