First thing is first, get together three of your mates so that you can begin a four-player co-op game. Set your difficulty to Legendary of course, and play the final level in the campaign 'Coastal Highway'. Be sure to also turn on the Iron skull (this causes the entire team to reset to a checkpoint whenever a person dies).

This is going to take a lot of patience, lol.

Best way is to keep on keeping on with your four players, who I recommend be ably skilled at Halo. Be sure not to run and gun into heated fights with brutes, and vehicles.

For the tip that'll make it all that much easier, once you reach the highway, don't take the Warthogs (or Scorpions) obviously and proceed on foot. In the middle of the highway up ahead is an off-ramp, take this down and you'll find a nice cache of two Mongoose and four rocket launchers with a ludicrous amount of ammo (998 in reserve, to be exact).

Now there's only one thing to do, push on and try your hardest. Be patient and just try to milk checkpoints cause it'll make this all that much easier.

As noted above, Hogs and Scorpions are a no-no, though if you stumble across an abandoned Ghost or perhaps the aforementioned stashed Mongeese, then you're entitled to those. So good luck and hopefully this has been marginally helpful.

Failure OnlineJust wanted to mention that if you have completed really any Halo game on Legendary, even in co-op, then you should be just fine. You shouldn't have any problems if you just make sure you get the checkpoints before moving on. The level really isn't that long.

EasedSun2742794This achievement is totally possible to do solo, as long as you have two Xboxes and two copies of the game (ODST doesn't allow 4 player split screen). You'll just have three dummies in the game doing nothing. It took me an hour and a half, so it's not so bad.

Good guides from everyone else, just a few things to add:

1.) When on the mongooses travel all the way to the end of the highway section and jump out, then you've got 4 rocket launchers firing on your enemies as they slowly come back towards you.

2.) When you get to the point that theres a turret and a bunch of ghosts being dropped off by phantoms, you may find it easier to travel halfway down this section of highway, then get out, and fire on the ghosts using the cars in the road as cover.

3.)Make sure you do this in one sitting, no resuming later. We got to the end and the final dropship never showed up after the checkpoint, so we had to quit and resume. No cheeves for that!

Greggie SmallzzWish it was that easy, but the checkpoint popped up, and then the drop ship never appeared. Killing ourselves brought us to the checkpoint with no dropship appearing each time.

Great guide by MulletGuy. Rockets and Mongoose are a must. However, when we did it, we did the majority of the killing on foot and kept the Mongooses back for travelling afterwards. The best way to milk checkpoints is to make sure that everyone enters the holding areas at roughly the same time, as well as making sure that all enemies in the previous area are dead. We had a couple of instances where a team member fell a bit behind (picking up ammo etc) and the checkpoint didn't register, which can make things very frustrating! The end part where you have to wait for a pickup from your team mates in a phantom is really easy if you all have the rocket launchers. Took us around an hour and a quarter to do it, and that was with some really silly mistakes in places.
Good luck. Vidmaster Challenge: Endure is the tough one!
