How to unlock the 001 achievement

  Actions

  Few minutes after the beginning the game you have to resolve a puzzle to lower an individual to the ground floor.
  
  From there, you can move it around the main room to 3 different exits :
  - One is just a dead-end
  - Second exit the room with a "shell shaped arm" -> using it will unlock the 002 Achievement
  - Third exit is the room with the saw ( the saw is kind of hidden behind the "chair" )-> using it will unlock the 001 Achievement.
  
  To get the 2 Achievements, I think 2 playthrough are required.

  "It is not necessary to do two runs. Once you have made an achievements restart save, will restart from the checkpoint created once you arrive in the great room and you will have to retract your "assistant" down, at which point do the other achievement."

  It's a missable achievement, you can only do either 001 or 002 in the first room of the game. You'll have to complete the first room again to get the one you missed the first time through

  Actions

  This achievement can be missed depending on which room you transport the fellow survivor into. To unlock 001 you need to start Act I, complete the Crane/Egg puzzle at the top of the lift and transport him downstairs. Once he's downstairs, use the tower in the middle of the room to change both sections of track so he gets transported into the most northern room. The surgical procedure carried out in this room will extract him from the pod giving you the 001 achievement.
  
  At this point you can reload Act I and get the 002 achievement if you so wish. See my video below for more detail and puzzle solutions.

  One thing I'll add is if like me you are calling it a night after these 2 achievements push on into the next area after the lift up at the end. Otherwise you won't trigger the checkpoint. You can check if it's saved buy pressing start and then load game to see if act 2 is there.
