  This one is simple, as you are playing the level 'The only easy day... was yesterday', you will get to a part where your objective is to 'secure the derrick building on the top deck', you are then told to use the thermal guns which can be picked up at the top of some stairs just before a fair sized battle, then kill 6 enemies in a row with said gun and achievement is yours.
  If you somehow find this hard, after picking up the thermal gun, go back down the stairs and wait for bad guys to come to you and simply pick them off.

  The way I got this was in the charlie spec-ops mission "homeland security". Load up this mission on regular, and right away grab the scoped M21 EBR thermal off the ground in front of you. Head straight to the Diner , go to the front, and start picking people off as they're coming in. You can usually get this in 5 minutes or less!

  The first time you pick up a thermal scope weapon is in Burgertown at a mandatory checkpoint. Should not be difficult as long as you pick up the weapon and kill six enemies before you switch weapons or die.
