  I personally drive the deuce everywhere, I only walk when I'm looking for bound serpents, buried metal, or solos. Wait until you have some weapons for your deuce, trying to run over bouncers(the guys with the big fists) only brings you to a dead stop, then they damage your deuce. With your new machine guns installed, drive around looking for groups of hairbangers and bouncers. The hairbangers are easy to mow down, the bouncers on the other hand are a different story. Line up a bouncer infront of the deuce and start shooting, you'll know when you hit them, you'll see blood spray. If they get too close, back up, and keep shooting, they'll eventually go down. Make sure there's nothing behind you to stop you, or an accidental fall from a cliff could end your journey really quickly. I drove off cliffs in reverse about 50 times, early in the game, trying to end some bouncers existence.

  A great place to grind this out is on the eastern side of the Northwest/Southwest sections (see image for a map). I went here prior to completing the Tour of Destruction. At this time, if you drive around the area there will be mobs of bouncers and hairbangers (sometimes just a couple of bouncers) that spawn fairly quick. Of course, you should upgrade the Deuce with machine guns prior to this as it makes it a hell of a lot easier.

  The image link still works for me, but I will try and describe the location the best I can without the aid of the image. Take note that I've not played this game for several years now (things are a little fuzzy), and I've not been active on this site for quite some time (I've forgotten how to insert images and links appropriately).
  
  First, look at the in-game map. Let's divide this sucker into three distinct pieces.
  
  If you don't have access to a map, here is a link:

  The far right (east side) that is kind of L-shaped, with the green area to the north, mountains in the south and a large skull icon. THIS IS NOT THE AREA TO LOOK FOR.
  
  The remaining two sections look kind of like a butterflied pork chop ... or an inverted pair of lungs ... with lots of green on the west side and lots of mountains on the east side. In the center of these masses, running from west to east, is first a crooked bridge/elevated roadway icon leading to a building that looks like it has an anvil on top of it (the icon on the map does, anyway), and immediately east of that appears to be an arena icon.
  
  Also, notice the lines on the map representing roads.
  
  The area you want to grind this out in is between the eastern end of the crooked bridge/elevated roadway and the "anvil-topped building." You DON'T want to go as far north as the horseshoe bend in the mountains, or head south down the road towards the heavy metal Rushmore-looking icon on the map. Just drive around that area of road.
