How to unlock the Discovered Skag Gully achievement

    Actions
    A nice and easy to get - storyline based - achievement. As you progress through the game you will come across a mission to go find and kill Nine Toes. Following the on screen markers will take you to an impassable point. Here you will need to blow up the obstruction and then when you pass through the terminal you will come to the next zone, Skag Gully.

    The Ol n DeA word of warning.
    I played this on my X One S to start with, via backwards compatinility.
    The achievement unlocked on the screen,
    but did not show in the achievement list on Xbox, and did not scan on TA.
    I started a new save on X360, went through the story,
    and the achievement popped where it should have then.
    Not sure how I would have had it if I hadn't still have an X360.

    HeptagrammatonI'm playing this now, via backwards compatibility, on a Series X and I have the same problem. It popped on screen and it shows as unlocked when I look at the game in the 360 emulator dashboard. However, everywhere else it looks like it's still locked.

    Edit: Oh, what do you know. It's finally updated - when I posted this comment and the page reloaded the achievement was suddenly in green. It's over 7 hours since I unlocked it and when I got out of bed it still hadn't updated on xbox.com. I booted up the game and nothing happened right away but it seems that it actually worked after a little while. I didn't have to unlock any new achievements or anything I'm just sitting idle in the main menu.

    Part of the beginning story line. When you get the quest to go and kill Nine Toes (who has three balls) it will take you to this area. Blow up the barrier as directed and go through to the terminal to get to the next zone, Skag Gully.

    One of the early storyline quests, around level five, will send you to kill nine-toes. He is in skrag gully. Follow the quest markers.
