How to unlock the The Ends Petrify the Means achievement

    Actions
    Petrificus Totalus is a sneak attack spell which can be cast while cloaked in Disillusionment. Simply cast Disillusionment on yourself and sneak up behind an enemy. You should get the option to press cn_X and use Petrificus Totalus to incapacitate the target. Do this a total of 50 times to unlock the achievement.

    Disillusionment is unlocked during the story mission "Secret of the Restricted Section" with Sebastian. You automatically get the ability to use Petrificus Totalus with it although not explained until later in the game.

    Craigievar88Just something I found helpful is using the spell "Glacius". If used on an enemy who is alone it should give the option to press X and use "Petrificus Totalus" to defeat them

    If you are having trouble getting this because you keep getting detected then wait until you learn the Imperio curse from Sebastian. That spell turns a bad guy "good" essentially and you can walk right up to them and tap X to petrify them. I found it a lot easier and faster than sneaking around with the Disillusionment spell.
