Bayernschweiz's guide from IGN is a very detailed, and covers all of the completion details as well. It's a fantastic guide. Here it is:

Start this case also by talking to your partner, Catherine:

    - Any sign this was a robbery?
    - I've never heard of this place.
    - Let's get to it.

Now we have a wide view over the place.

Start from the very left corner of the room.
Near one of the "Marcelle's" signs on the wall, behind our witness.

Look near the box. Then to the left to view the pictures there. Go back.

Now click on the box there. Click again to collect evidence.
Use the fingerprints tool there near the numbers on the box.

+++New Evidence: Print from case of Classic Cork whiskey at crime scene+++

    Go back.

Look at the Marcelle's logo there. Go back twice.

Look near and talk to our witness in green there.

    Ask:

    - Were you the one who discovered the body?
    - Did you notice anything out of place?
    - Did you ever witness Marcelle drink alcohol?
    - Miss Apprehension?
    - How would you describe Marcelle and Miss A's relationship?
    - Anything else you can tell us?

Click once to get close and another to enter.

Start from left and click on the stuff on the desk there.
Continue to right and look at the place with a teddy bear on it.

+++New Evidence: Box of pills found in dressing room at crime scene+++

    Go back x3.

Look at the mic. Go back.

Now to the victim. Take a look at the vomit on the floor there.

    Swab it for evidence.

+++New Evidence: Liquid found near victim at crime scene+++

    Let's go to the morgue.

A little talk now and then it's time to start.

Look at the tray on right. Go back.

Now our last thoroughness point is achieved by looking at a drawer.

The one located between the bed and the picture.
Look at the drawer right next to the bed.

Our work is done here. Let's go to the lab.

A quick recap now over the case. We're offered additional help too.

If by this point you haven't achieved 100% thoroughness,
look at the elevator for the last two thoroughness percentages. Go back.

    To the microscope.
Compare Apron from dumpster behind club with
Pink fiber found at Juarice Briggs's trailer.

Young Mc6In the document analysis, the sliders should be placed like this: left slider just below the second line, middle slider half way between the first and second line down, and the right slider should be split on the fourth line down. The lines I am referring to are the blue lines in the background of the sliders. You must correctly place each of the sliders quickly and not adjust them or you will lose percentage points on skill.

Young Mc6When you are in Brigg's trailer you will get to 98% thoroughness. You must look at the elevator in the lab and the crime photos at the far right of the materials lab to get to 100% thoroughness.

Young Mc6When comparing the fiber found at Briggs' trailer. You will lose percentage points in skill if you don't find it immediately. x60 magnification and get the focus just right. Once the focus is clear, move the fiber strand to the right so that you can see the frayed end of the fiber (it's the left side of the fiber, slide right to see the left end). Then slide the apron to the left (to see the right most part of the apron) and near the top is another frayed portion on the apron. This is where the match will be. Do this precisely and correctly the first time and you will 100% at the end of the case. Also before you move the materials around under the microscope, have both materials side-by-side when you start to adjust the focus. This will help you keep 100% skill.
