How to unlock the Volcano Gold Medalist achievement

    It's important that you choose 200CC (Mirror) as a class! The achievement won't unlock on 50CC, 100CC or 150CC.
    Choose "Volcano" and then SHREK, cause he is the fastest racer.
    2:10.00 --> Bronze
    1:55.00 --> Silver
    1:40.00 --> Gold
    So, you have to beat 1.40min. It's important that you try to drift on every corner. Like that, you will fill up you're Boost meter. And use as much boost pads as possible! And do stunts to fill up you're boost.I n the "Volcano" it's necessary to boost in the curves aswell. Like that, you will take them sharper and faster.
    Race the track a couple of times to get a feeling for everything. Shouldn't take too long.

    DJP519I got this using Gloria, as I had not yet unlocked Shrek. I used burst in lots of small quick doses. Use a little right at the start of the first lap to get up to speed quickly, and use some more while drift-turning in the first big curve to keep from going off track. Like stated above, try to hit as many of the yellow boost pads as possible. Also try to work in a double-stunt combo on the one big jump to earn extra turbo. On my 3rd or 4th try (but 2nd clean run without falling off or hitting an obstacle) I got this in about 1:37:50. So it's definitely do-able. Good luck!
