Sorry to the two others, but their guides don't really tell you how to do this properly.

Firstly don't buy anything until you have 16000 coins, to save confusion...

Next play through the game until you are on level 6, then go back and complete the tiki challenges which unlock after you complete the levels.

This will allow you access to the kitchen and bathroom within his house.

Firstly go to the bedroom, purchase Gary's food bowl [500] and his bed (newspaper) [500] without leaving the room or you will never be able to get this achievement. Also in this room buy the two pictures [200x2] and Spongebob's bed [1000].

Move into the bathroom, by opening the chains which should now be unlockable (if not you need to do more Tiki challenges). Purchase the waste backet [100], toilet [1000], bathtub [2000], towel rack [300], picture [200], mirror [600], dryer [1000] and the duck sitting beside the bath [100].

Now go downstairs and enter the living room where you can buy the armchair [1000], two pictures [200x2], a sofa [2000] and the trophy table beside it [700].

Now open the kitchen, the natural progression will allow you to unlock the chains, buy the two cabinets on either side of the door [500x2], stove [1000], fridge [1000] and finally the sink [500].

All in all these purchases will cost you 16000 "happiness nuggets" or coins, and you will have the most tedious 30G you'll ever get... despite I'm sure purchasing Gary's bed and bowl at the same time it didn't unlock so had to play this crappy game again!

CyberPunch83After playing through this game three times, two being dedicated runs for this achievement, I found that not only do you need to buy everything at the same time, but to cut down on the chance of this achievement screwing you over, buy the food bowl and newspaper bed last. That way you know it's just the game being broken if the achievement doesn't pop.

As mentioned by the previous author, you will need to upgrade all your furniture in the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom.

Best advice is to accumulate until you have 16,000 coins before starting to buy all your furniture. There is a glitch in this achievement that need to take note all. When you upgrade Gary's food bowl (bedroom), a cutscene would start showing Gary coming over to the food bowl to eat his food and then headed back to the newspaper (aka his bed) and do his business. Once the cutscene is over, you will need to upgrade Gary's bed.

Failing to upgrade both the food bowl and bed at the same time would result in a glitch as you can't upgrade his bed after that.

shortbubbleDo you have to beat the game for it to unlock. Or just upgrade everything?

Cause i upgraded it all. at the same time and nothing popped up. I also just stopped at level six so i didnt even beat it on my second go.
