How to unlock the Mailman achievement

Finding a Borgia courier is half of the challenge; catching him is the other half.

To find him, look for an unidentified man running around with a white arrow indicator above his head. There will be no icon on your map or minimap. I first found one in the Santa Maria Novella section of Firenze (Florence).

Once you find one, chase him down. In order to "intercept" him, you'll want to lock onto him with the left trigger and then tackle him using the B button (you can also attack/assassinate him by pressing X). He can be a little tricky to catch, as he's quite fast and travels over rooftops, but if you use the free running sprinting whenever you can, it won't take too long to run him down.

If you succeed, you'll earn (steal) approximately 1500 florins. If you tackled him, he'll beg for his life and run away; if you killed him, you'll become notorious and be chased by guards (if any are nearby). The achievement pops as soon as you tackle/kill him.

BUILT TO HURTwhen i got this chievo the courier appeared on the minimap as a dollar sign inside of a red money bag. Not sure if this was part of an update or not.

The GlobalizerI think the red money bag is the pickpocket. I never saw a saw an icon on the minimap for the Borgia courier. [shrug]

Sazaq213hi I confirm (a little late lol) but I have just completed it and indeed there is no icon on the card and the mini card.

at the beginning I also believed that it was the icon of the bag but no. Thanks for your solution the globalizer

easiest way for me and it saves more time than running around is to lock on to him and throw a knife at him, it wont kill him because you need two knives to kill this time around so you're notoriety wont go up and you get the money

HolyHalfDeadIf anyone runs away from me I don't chase them, I just throw a knife at them, why wouldn't you, it's the easiest way to do this. Works great on pickpockets too for an easy 500 gold.

These guys are dressed in red clothes an make a hell of a lotta noise when they see you, they start screaming and stuff, so locating them shouldn't be too hard, intercepting them is way harder. Chase him down, to start with, he can do almost everything you can do, Try to get in front of him then hit him, tackling is not that reliable, he won't always topple over.

When you have hit him, you will receive 1500 florins (or something like that).
