Fortitudo is a big-a*s boss that Bayonetta's been embroiled with in 2 battles already. Here is where it all hits the fan.

For all its giant size, this angel's not that hard to beat. Your punches this battle are automatically demon punches and you have the help of the hourglass to restore any high ground Fortitudo may strike down.

You'll start out on a stone platform. Witch Time Dodge Forti's dragon head strikes so you can punch in that dragon jaw to your heart's content for a few seconds. When you see a giant flare erupting from his upside-down face, start dodging so you can ride out the blast and fall with minimal damage.

The blast will destroy the platform so immediately run towards the rubble to find the hourglass and press X to restore the high ground.

Rinse, repeat.

Fortitudo will fly away from the scene twice, once for each dragon head. When this happens, he'll activate a timed sequence where you have to Jump (press A) through a series of rock platforms up to Forti and rip off his head... one of them, in any case.

Once both dragon heads are gone, the scene will change and you'll be fighting Forti's full body. Keep to the middle of the flying wall to avoid Forti's body slams and dodge whenever you see a glow underfoot or Forti's mouth light up. Fortitudo will also divebomb across the wall at times. Jumping out of the way seems the best (and sanest) option for this.

Punch him when he's close to the edge or when he lands on the wall itself. You'll whittle that last bar of life down pretty fast. And you'll earn this achievement in no time.

Good luck and have fun!
