Equip a Thermo Gun.
Best done against a stationary enemy at a base.
Maneuver your ship within about 500 to 800 km from the turret or missile silo, but remain behind cover. (Adjust distance until it works.)
Peak around the edge of the asteroid or structure so that the enemy is barely hidden behind your cover.
Shoot the Thermo Gun barrage in the space just above the enemy and the bullets will curve to it via heat-seeking.
