How to unlock the Worldly Slayer achievement

    Hey all,

    There seems to be a little bit of confusion regarding World Bosses, so here it's what I gather from my personal experience + internet:

    1) You can kill World Boss BEFORE finishing the Campaign
    2) After you cleared the story, an ICON will appear on where the World Boss is going to spawn (as a Tree of Whisper request, worth 5 points)
    3) If you know where is going to spawn, you can join the fight, it doesn't matter if you haven't finished the story.
    4) A world Boss spawns roughly every 6 hours (I'll update it when we have an official confirmation)
    5) There are 5 locations where the WB is going to spawn:
    Field of Desecration, Hawezar
    Seared Basin, Kehjistan
    Saaran Caldera, Dry Steppes
    The Crucible, Fractured Peaks (Beta area)
    Caen Adar, Scosglen


    Aside from that, WB hit pretty hard, so don't go underlevelled. Use elixirs and incense for a boost of stats and exp and an area boost.

    TheIcemanComethThere is a Twitter account that you can follow that will tweet out when and where the next World Boss will be. Follow @game8_d4boss. I just got a tweet about 30 minutes ago, went there, boss spawned, we beat it, achievement unlocked.

    Divine FearTo be clear, these are different from the Legion Events, correct? Only most of the way through act 2 but I keep seeing them pop up in Kehjistan and I have no idea what they are.

    E73RN I ErjVery different! Legion events are a nice way to farm, but they are nowhere close to the difficulty/loot of a wb. They are a nice way to get some loot and a nice amount of exp. You go there, you slay some enemies in a sequence and if you are fast enough you face 2 bosses at the end.

    A New AnubisDo world bosses only spawn on WT2 onwards? I feel it’s the luck of the draw when it comes to who’s there to participate and my mid game build can’t solo any of the bosses while running around trying to revive everyone else

    E73RN I ErjWorld Bosses spawn in every tier. If you want to find different people, you can open a portal at the spawn location (before the fight starts), go to the city and come back immediately. It will change your instance and find different people (if you are not in a party).
    Personally speaking, on WT4, World Bosses last around... 1 minute. Maybe less, so maybe try higher WT?

    pradDIABLODoes it matter what World Tier you are playing on? I went to get this achievement. I didn't see any other players. WB killed me in 3 seconds. LOL..

    Dragonborn GearI just did this with four total players on world tier 1. We were all four in the forties in terms of level against Avarice boss and we defeated him with maybe a minute or two left. on my screen it said it was level 43, which I was at the time, so I'm not sure what other people see.

    FlabyoI had the comedy of arriving at the world boss only to see it was surrounded by dozens of lvl 100 dudes who killed it in about 3 seconds. Somewhat easier achievement than I was expecting, heh
