    ***PATCH RELEASED 09/13/23 APPARENTLY FIXES THIS ISSUE***

    This is not a proper guide but a WARNING for all.

    As of today, 09/04/23, there is a game breaking bug where this mission may not activate after completing the previous missions. Those missions are The Empty Nest and Back to Vectera both of which you get at the same time. I strongly recommend you do the story ONLY up to the point you get AND complete this mission. I have seen some people say they loaded an old save from hours before and were able to get the mission but no one is able to pinpoint the cause of the bug.

    Also I have read numerous posts that say this mission is a glitched out mess even if you get it so you still may not be able to complete it. Obviously a lot of people already have completed this so it does not affect everyone. I hope this helps people because I currently have no way to progress the story until this bug is patched.

    EnlunaFor the people that were affected by this bug: There are some reports over Reddit and Steam with fixes/workarounds to get the mission on your quest log. I tried them all without success but I will leave them here anyways in case they work for someone else.

    -Fast travel to Residential District and make a hard save, close the game and load the save, after that use the train to spaceport.
    -Explore planets and do misc activities until randomly appears on your quest log.
    -Enter airvents with loading screens.
    -Complete UC questline and reload the quicksave mutiple times in the penthouse elevator checkpoint.
    -After completing every faction questline, during “In memoriam” the quest may spawn.
    -Select Sam Coe and Sarah on your active ship crew, quest may spawn after a dialogue between them.

    There is also a command you can use on Console Commands for PC but disables the achievements so I don’t recommend follow that method.

    DemonSpawn2714Following up on what @Eniuna said, I had yet to go to the residential district as I had no need to. The moment I go there I check and the quest is magically there. So silly.

    bigspankwaRan into an issue where the mission pointer wasn’t working correctly. It would point me to different landing sites on Piazzi iv-c that I had unlocked while running around. Had to revert to a hard save that I reloaded to restart the mission and it finally worked. One difference is I had Sarah with me the first. Second time when it worked I took the robot

    Lil Miss CherrySame for me, only I'm hours and hours and hours beyond that mission now with no current main quests spawning 🙄

    EDIT: Im an idiot. Its outside on the top. (vague to avoid spoilers) thruster unlock helps/ is needed.
