How to unlock the Home Sweet Home achievement

    Actions
    You'll receive outpost beacons after you join the Constellation and talk to everyone at the Lodge.

    Outpost's can be built on any planet just make sure you aren't near a main city/settlement.

    Hit cn_LB to open the scanner and then hit cn_X to pull out a outpost beacon. Place the beacon wherever for the ahievement to unlock.

    If you are looking to build a nice outpost that can gather resources for you Scan the planet and do some exploring to find a good spot to place it.

    RiludeConfirmed that you don't get this achievement in NG+ as it still bugged as of patch v1.7.36.0

    RouteMillionWasn't popping for me in NG+ So loaded an earlier save from the first playthrough. Placed an outpost and it popped straight away. Thankyou to those that suggested using an earlier save!

    Red GhidorahJust start a second character and progress as normal ... takes 10-15 minutes. Delete the second character after the achievement pops.

    Hello, anyone who is having problems with the achievement ´´Home Sweet Home`` and even deleting the save and downloading it again or starting a save from scratch and the achievement did not unlock, simply play Starfield on XCloud and the achievement will unlock normally, I hope I helped anyone who has this problem.

    Burke By NatureNot helping for me... placed my Outpost on Series X, didn't work - quicksaved, loaded xCloud, jumped onto save, deleted and replaced Outpost and still no achievement. This all on a second playthrough, i.e. after stepping through Unity

    If you follow the UC Vanguard questline, you will be prompted to deploy an outpost on Cydonia.
    Dropping the main Outpost marker unlocks this achievement.

    You do not need to build any additional modules to unlock.

    KGI KlikoNLI have done the full Vanguard, but never saw something telling me to build an outpost.
