This is a very self explanatory achievement. One important thing to note though, is you don't have to do this in one playthrough!

Another important thing to note is while you don't have to do this is one playthrough, they do need to be 100 different planets. You can't just go back and forth between a couple planets until this unlocks.

Just thought I'd add this for anyone wondering. If you're ever curious how many you have, you can find your total in the pause menu>cn_Ystatus>exploration. Good luck toast

Edit: According to BlueMuztang96, moons also count so planets that have several moons will save you some time.

Tozi TiberiusThat's so useful to know that there's an in-game count for this. I would never have thought to check the stats page.

R3f1CuLApparently going onto starships (abandoned or not etc) count as well as I got my achievement when I went on board the UCN-48.

SPΛΙΝΤΞRCΞΛΛFast traveling without landing to already known planets counts?

AmlofMy stat has been going up simply by grav jumping to a new system, then immediately leaving. I'm guessing this is a bug?

copeknightFor anyone wondering like I was, you don't need to exit your ship once you land on the planet.

Elf Taki TakiIf you're wondering whether or not you've already been to a planet, you only get the landing animation (1st or 3rd person of the ship, doesn't matter) if you've never landed on a planet before. Also, if you see a Landing Spot you set on a planet when looking for resources, that's pretty clearly already been to as well.

JamesChatzThis is only triggered when you land on your 100th planet. Didn't unlock for me even though I was at ~110, so reloaded a save with less than 100 planets and it worked second time round.

Hi Im QBATau Ceti (far left on the map) is a great system for that achievement, lots of empty planets and moons you've probably never landed on
