Gold Enemy Hunter achievement in Sonic Superstars

Here are three videos for the locations of the golden enemies.

“IMPORTANT” If you die after defeating the golden enemy within the act, it WON’T count, you must finish the act and it’s boss without dying.

You can check your progress on the acts screen before you entry the level, a golden enemy icon will be in the bottom right hand corner.
Frozen Base Act 2 doesn’t have a golden enemy.

Also, to make things easier, I would highly recommend you collect the chaos emeralds first so that you can go Super Sonic!

Just got this after using the super glitch. I could only get it to work with Sonic, but it made Egg Fortress Act 2 a lot easier. Jump, transform at the peak of jump, tap cancel (LB + RB), and then Sonic should stay super when he lands without consuming rings! Be cautious about getting crushed and use the meteor power over the crumbling ground sections of Egg Fortress. Good luck!

For anyone wondering if the glitch for unlimited SS still works-IT DOES NOT. Patched. However, this achievement is not bad at all especially if you complete Trip’s Story first then go back. The levels become quite easy after that run.

So I’ve got all Gold Enemies but no achievement. Has this happened to anyone else & have you got a fix? Tried deleting my save (local) then re syncing & a few other things but nothing seems to be triggering it.

@LFC You did beat the levels without dying, right? Bc it’s required. Also, there is one that isn’t golden. It’s a Tails puppet. Check each stage to be sure you have the golden icon on the bottom right of the stage select,

@KJer25, yeah all 22 golden enemies and I'm certain I never died on any level. I'm pretty sure the golden icon wouldn't show up on stage select if I had died? It's pretty frustrating as once you've got the gold enemy once, it's gone so it's not like I can replay stages again to be sure now. It looks like I'll have to wipe my save completely & start again from scratch.

Hmm that’s strange. Before doing that I’d try something like beating the final boss again and loading a save. Although, I had problems getting the individual kill achievements to unlock, but unlock they did after many, many attempts.

Thanks but I've beat the final boss again, beat numerous levels, fruit levels etc, bought stuff from the shop with coins. Basically anything that will possibly save the game & potentially trigger it to realise I've met the requirements for the achievement. So annoying and so stupid to tie collectibles to what is essentially a 'no death run' of the game.

I'll start a new save & chip away at this again over the next week. Appreciate the replies and you trying to help though.

Either the achievement has been patched by the time I started the game or I got lucky - I got the golden enemies I missed and it unlocked as expected.

Perhaps weirdness starts happening if you use a second save slot or something.

2 days trying to get through the fucking press factory act 2 boss. Such an annoying piece of shit game. Last Sonic game I’ll ever play from the team.
