  Mission 2: Precious Cargo
  If you haven't got a parachute yet from open combat missions, follow Graves initial instructions to search the first cargo container where you'll find a parachute. Grab this, take a left as you leave the cargo container and head South East towards the large yellow cargo container crane. The large white building beside it is the Harbourmaster's Building we need to land on. At the base of the Crane you can either rappel ascend up or climb the ladder to the top. Now run down the crane arm towards the Harbourmaster's Building, jump and press to open the parachute. You should drop slightly short but able to grapple yourself onto the roof with . Run into the middle of the roof and the achievement should pop. Video guide below:

  @gmurda33 : Happened to me. I have tried so many times from different cranes, different corners of the building. I think if you have picked parachute in the 1st playthrough and do level select to get the achievement (now you already have the parachute in starting loadout), then this does not unlock.

  I tried again today and it unlocked first attempt, after trying probably 50 times previously. Maybe there was an update?

  Mission: Precious Cargo
  
  As you spawn, your first job will be to locate a container with some weapons and a parachute inside that you'll want to loot. If you need head east, you'll end up at one of the first objectives which is to retrieve the Manifest from the Harbor Master's Building. Directly next to this building you can find a gantry crane which moves shipment containers. Climb this nearby crane, and from the top, run, jump, and parachute to the top floor of the building to unlock this.

  In the second mission of the Modern Warfare III campaign, you get access to the first "Open Combat" mission in the game.
  
  Follow the orders to find the supply crate and grab your first parachute (looks like a blue backpack).
  
  Make your way to the POI in the bottom right of the mini map as that is the Harbormaster building.
  
  Climb the giant yellow crane next to it and simply parachute by pressing "A" in mid air and glide over to the roof for the achievement to pop!
