ColzzhOk so mines bugged in a good way I don’t know what triggers the pop up but I was on 69% on one console went home loaded up on my other console it popped up an option to load the save either from this console or the cloud I chose console and every enemy I scanned again went towards the % these were even all the basic tyranids and hormgaunts etc so if anyone knows how to reenact this, it should be a lot easier instead of searching for that 1 enemy your missing

Ra1D3nHUNHow could this be the best solution? The names are wrong here (especially the tyranid warrior ones) not to mention that it misses some enemy types...

After going through the first list there were a lot of names that were incorrect. I've added all the enemies by name as they appear in the game required for the achievement and listed what mission by name that they first appear.

Zoanthrope -- Appear throughout the first 5 missions of the campaign

Hormagaunt; Termagant; Tyranid Warrior with Bone Sword; Tyranid Warrior with Lash Whip; Ravener -- You’ll first encounter them during Mission: Skyfire in the campaign

Hormagaunt with Adrenal Glands (these are the same as Hormagaunt but with glowing red eyes); Tyranid Warrior with Barbed Strangler; Tyranid Warrior with Devourer; Tyranid Warrior with Venom Cannon; Lictor; -- You’ll encounter them for the first time during Mission: Severance in the campaign.

Carnifex -- You’ll first encounter them during Mission: Machinus Divinitus

Neurothrope; Cultist; Tazaangor; Rubric Marine with Inferno Boltgun, Cultist with Long-Las; Lesser Sorcerer -- You’ll first encounter them during Mission: Servant of the Machine

Rubric Marine with Warpflamer; Scarab Occult Terminator with Soulreaper; Imurah -- You’ll first encounter them during Mission: Voidsong

Imurah’s Clones; Scarab Occult Terminator with Power Sword; Helbrute -- You’ll first encounter them during Mission: Dawn’s Descent

Hive Tyrant -- You’ll first encounter them in Operation Mode during Operation: Decapitation

Heldrake -- You’ll first encounter them in Operation Mode during Operation: Reliquary

This achievement / Trophy is actually poorly described. According to achievement counter you need 23 differen enemy types but each Warrior counts toward achievement when 2 differen Hormagaunt types do not. On top of that you have to mark one boss, Imurah, twice despite him being the same person.

KozzayGreat video, to add to this, you can scan the Imurah near the beginning of the mission when it is just his illusion and it will count in place of the final fight scan. Worked this way for me,

MakkerGreat video. Not sure what the down votes are for. It shows you where to find each of them within each mission and even shows them being marked so you can see the names.
One thing to note is the video actually shows 26 unique enemy types being marked. This guide says 23 and the comments on the video say 23 but the videos shows 26. No idea which ones aren't needed. I just marked them all for good measure.

Count SpazulaThought this achievement was glitched at first as I convinced myself I'd marked every enemy type and checked them off the list. Turns out I was missing the Hive Tyrant even though I could have sworn I'd tagged it before. If in doubt do the 2 Operations again just to be on the safe side.
