    You go on a series of missions to let you upgrade to Class 4 then can begin the final quest. The dungeon is lengthy and there's a very obvious Gold Save right before the battle.

    Go ahead and grind out levels on Easy. You can play through the game on any difficulty and then just change the difficulty to Hard right before the fight. To change difficulty press cn_start to bring up the character screen then cn_X to access Pause Menu, then choose Options and Difficulty is the third option down.

    My main was Duran with Angela using offensive magic and Charlotte healing and curing status aliments. I beat the fight first try using the exact same tactics I'd employed the entire game which was to rush in and beat the crap out of it. The only thing to be aware of is it can inflict various ailments like Moogle or Petrify so keep those cure items handy.

    Subzero323Agreed on party, Duran was my main and had Angela for heavy magic and hawkeye for everything in between, little tip make sure you set tactics to "all out" and the bars to MAX, so they are actually going full force with everything they got.

    Daelus1"Go ahead and grind out levels on Easy". That suggests you believe you would need to be a minimum level to tackle this fight on Hard, yet you haven't stated what level you were for reference. Care to clarify?

    SPOONYxBARDMy party was all around level 70. For some reason when I tried to amend that after posting, it added it as a seperate little note at the bottom

    Daelus1Thanks. Just finished at level 73 with Duran, Angela and Kevin. Note it is a 2-stage fight.
