To do this you need to get crafting resources. If you go into inventorycn_RB and press cn_Y for craft you can see 5 ingots on the right side which is what you need.

To get resources you need to dismantle items from chests which you get by.
    1. Collect shards from quests, the grail symbol at top of screen. Most these quest have a timer reset, which goes up. Collect rewards in quest tab. When you have 20 you can buy a chest from the chests shop.
    2. Catalog of Reminiscences, across from grail. This is completing in game objectives. Once you’ve done a few you get a chest, which you collect from in the catalog.
    3. If you ritual in game, resetting to start, you need candles from champions, you get something called black wax. In the shop, again across from grail. Go to market, it may have a chest to buy for black wax if your lucky.

Once you have objects from chests go to your inventory again and again press craft. You have 4 options on the left side, press cn_X to toggle through these to disassemble and press on weapon or charm and press to disassemble and confirm. You will get so many bars of a certain type. You really want iron which comes from most low level weapons.

Once you have 27 iron go to craft again scroll down to upgrade. Get your starting weapon Noname Dagger, you have to unequip it by moving it from your equipped weapons up into your inventory. Press and confirm to upgrade for achievement.

You can also buy weapons from store and disassemble but I thought chests were the better way as the chance for multiple items.

All bars aswell as other objects/slime carry over through rituals.

    Good luck with the Achievement.

CMDopedogThank you for the dismantle info. It was the last achievement I needed in both versions :)

neeker75How do you unquip the starting weapon?

And when grinding to unlock chests for items to be disassembled, if you perform a ritual and start from beginning again, do you keep your materials/iron or does it reset to zero?

igmgordonIf you perform a ritual all objects/slime/bars are carried over to next run.

To unequal starting weapon open your inventory, scroll down to your starting weapon in the weapon boxes at bottom of screen, press on it then move it up into your inventory and press to unequip it. I just tried you can have no weapon equipped.
