  Actions

  adding just one skill point to Dexterity unlocks the Hunter ability. Spend 1 more skill point on this to give yourself a 50% chance of spawning a firefly with each critical hit. This will allow you to pop this one that much quicker.

  Actions

  A much quicker way than waiting to get a critical and clicking on firefly or wasting points on dexterity is to spend the points on bloodthirstiness and rage of darkness in Strength. Then at full energy, initiate rage of darkness(right on d-pad then x). This accelerates clicking to 10 times per second (all over screen). You’ll have the firefly’s, bats, and all the rubies you need to finish this achievement and the other 9 in no time at all. See

  If you pay attention to the tutorial when the game begins, the 2nd thing it explains to you is that you can kill flying enemies (fireflies, bats, etc.) if you point the cursor over them and just click it. This is much direct than having to put skill points into wisdom and then set the critical to make the fireflies appears. In fact, it is much better to just put skill points into dexterity and whenever you get a critical there will be a 50% chance by default to get a firefly across the screen, just click it over with the cursor, that will kill it. Do it 20 times

  Actions

  Simply click on the fireflies as they spawn in from the right hand side of the screen with the cursor and it will count as 1 kill. Do it 20 times for the achievement to pop. Fireflies do not spawn in the castle area, they are bats there instead and in my experience bats do NOT count towards the achievement!
  
  Best time to focus on this is towards the end of your achievement to-do list when you're repeatedly doing the rituals as this will keep you on firefly levels.
  
  I found it easier to not put points into dexterity like other people are saying as 20 fireflies will more than likely spawn by themselves as you're working towards the other achievements. Putting points into dexterity may slow your overall progress down too.
