Just thought I'd put in my two cents because this took me longer than it should have.
Definitely go during the day behind your first house on the MacFarlane ranch, it's easiest. The bets shouldn't matter, but it's good to have the pressure off. Take your time to feel out the practice shots to save yourself time later. Aim with LT first and LINE UP THE ARM, not the horseshoe. The horseshoe will follow the path of the arm. Then take the time to build your momentum. The meter should be green when you release, not red. Bring your arm all the way back with the RS and forward, pulling RT right on the white line. You need to be pretty spot on here. If the wind is in your favor, you have yourself a ringer. (If not, re-aim for each shot and be sure to rub more luck into your horseshoe.)
