Here is a map if you didn't buy the game. if you did then the areas marked with "danger" are the hideouts.

For these just ride up and then they will initiate themselves.

Twin Rocks: America
Mission requirement: New Friends, Old Problems
Objective: Kill all the bandits and reinforcements
Reward: Volcanic Pistol

Pike's Basin: America
Mission requirement: Justice in Pike's Basin
Objective: Help rancher return his cattle by killing the bandits
Reward: Sawed-off Shotgun

Gaptooth Breach: America
Mission requirement: Man is Born Unto Trouble
Objective: Find treasure chest
Reward: Springfield Rife

Note if you finish all the hideouts in the US within 24 hours game time you will unlock the Marshal's outfit.

You might want to add that you cannot unlock the Marshall Outfit until you finish the storyline. I just wasted my time doing that. Twat.

The guide does not state that you have to beat the game to unlock the Marshall's Outfit. He just says that if you finish all the US hideouts in 24 game hours, it will unlock.

A solution should be accurate.

That is correct but the actual solution is for the listed achievement so you can't fault him for that. I agree that he should not have posted the last portion.
I cannot fault him for taking time to do a guide though. If you want to make sure that people in the future do not have issues, you should make a guide.

I have not voted negative. The solution does describe the correct hideouts.

I myself have written guides and walkthroughs (on my previous GT, Lucky Conquerer), so I understand the the effort it takes.

I know it takes time. He would have got a positive from me but obvouisly he added something that was incomplete and unneccesary. Would get a positive if he edited and corrected his mistake.

I don't understand. I have the Volcanic Pistol assuming I completed the twin rocks, and I know I have done gaptooth with the treasure chest, and pikes basin - but no achievement? And I have visited the area around Twin rocks and cannot get the hideout to replay? Is it possible that the 'hideout encounter' is actually the second time you go to the area just like it was in gaptooth breach and isn't available until after mexico?

When I clicked on the external image, I was warned that the connection was not private and the website would try and steal my information.

Also why is it that the guide writer has 0 gamerscore and has not unlocked this achievement? Did the player get banned for cheating?
