How to unlock the The Gunslinger achievement

    Step 1
    -Pause the game and select the options menu. Then change the targeting mode to expert.

    Step 2 (I used a bounty specifically the First Bounty at MacFarlane's ranch)
    -As you approach the general area of the bounty you should see red dots (enemies) on your mini-map.
    -Stay far enough away that you are not detected but close enough that you can line up a headshot with your repeater carbine (any long range gun will suffice). Once you pull the trigger (RT) and the enemy dies, the achievement will unlock.

    Note
    -You can also use Dead Eye to make this easier.
    -Don't forget to change the targeting mode back to your desired setting after the achievement unlocks.
    -This must be unlocked in Single Player (Thank you Curtieson for confirming this)

    InstantmashFor what its worth, i couldn't get this, although i was just mingling, and not in a mission or bounty, but got it while on a mission, so maybe worth a try if you can't get it, by doing a mission, great guide though

    CurtiesonYea, this can't be earned in MP, and it can't be earned by just taking out the Cops in SP...I think you have to be on a mission in SP.

    SeanyMcBikerI remembered about this achievement so turned on the setting and just got some random enemy walking around some base.in mexico. Probably easiest achievement in the game

    The VERY easiest way to earn this achievement is to hogtie a hostile NPC and shoot him in the head while he's hogtied. He's not going anywhere and he won't be able to shoot back. To make it even easier you can use dead eye to slow down time and shoot him in the head that way.

    DeafAtheistProbably because many players play on easier targeting modes than expert. I myself played on Normal mostly.

    This Achievement can be done on ANY enemy just make sure you go to options and switch your targeting mode from normal to expert like shown in the video then use your dead eye and aim for the head (achievement unlocked)
