How to unlock the Have Gun Will Travel achievement

  If you have the Liars and Cheats downloadable content, you will see a total of 14 gang hideouts on your map in free roam. You do not need to complete all 14 of these hideouts to get this achievement. You only need to complete the following 7 hideouts (in one session):
  -Pike's Basin
  -Twin Rocks
  -Fort Mercer
  -Tumbleweed
  -Gaptooth Breach
  -Nosalida
  -Tesoro Azul
  
  You will know that you have completed a hideout when a stats screen appears after you've killed all gang members and/or completed all hideout objectives.
  
  Going for this achievement can be a fun way to spend some free roam time with friends in a posse. Doing it in Friendly Free Roam will make it easier, because you won't have to deal with random other players occasionally killing you while you're trying to clear the hideouts. If you're rolling with a posse, it might be handy to start with Gaptooth Breach, as there is a stagecoach next to the final objective there, so you can load everyone into that and carpool to the other hideouts (just be careful going over narrow bridges like Frontera).

  I did the wrong Gaptooth, it is the one with the Mine, had to figure out what I missed, there is one above the mine on the map that is also in the Gaptooth area. Also, you don't have to do these beginning to end, if you come upon one in progress, just finish up and get the completed screen. Did this with two of the maps.

  Just to add, if you see other people doing a hideout you can join them halfway through and still get credit when it ends

  Free Roam was laggy and I get disconnected so I ended up doing all but one hideout(Twin Rocks) in private free roam. I pressed start and went to public free roam under multiplayer. Went to Twin Rocks and finished it with another random player and the achievement popped.

  If you would prefer to do the gang hideouts by yourself or just be able to do them without other people killing you, you can play and complete all 7 of the hideouts in a single private game.
  
  The 7 hideouts include:
  - Pike's Basin
  - Twin Rocks
  - Fort Mercer
  - Tumbleweed
  - Gaptooth Breach
  - Nosalida
  - Tesoro Azul
  
  Then once you've finished all 7 hideouts switch into a public game, complete a hideout there or just be part of another posse completing it. Once the gang hideout is complete you will get the achievement.

  I would add that if for any reason you need to take a break, you can enter the outfitters menu and return to free roam when you're ready. I did this several times and wasn't too sure if the achievement would pop but it did.
