This is only for the final mission of act2 on HARD, for everything else take it slow and take your shots you'll need a few retries but you can get in done.

For the final part of the act 2: A Simple Rendezvous

I have spent over 2 hours trying to get the ending of this, when you run up the hill, through the fence after getting the radio. No matter what I did I would die at the top so here is how I did it.

1. I'm 100% sure the game glitched on me, no matter what I did or where I went from the second to last checkpoint, I'd take damage and die. This is the point where I read up for help and found out I was not alone, I only had two health injectors with me so after reading the whole internet wink and trying every strategy out there I did the following and in one take.

2. From the start run down the hill and use the pistol on the 2 guys round the corner.

3. After the mini cut scene take the guy out by the barrier and then the dude it the tower to the right.

4. Run under the tower and get a checkpoint.

5. Work through the buildings for the marker slowly, after you pass between the first two there are injectors on the right hand building, grab em.

6. G to the marker and kill the dude in the hut, then use the radio, here the alarm went off for me, hide crouched in the left hand corner and take out the couple of dudes that show up.

7. Make sure you pistol is equipped and leg it for the fence, go left and arc up the hill to the left to right injecting when needed.

8. When you hit the checkpoint the game kinda jumps for a second as it saves, use this time to get the injectors in the bunker and go prone as soon as possible behind the marker towards the gun.

9. Stay prone and the guns stopped blazing finally.... Wait....

10. You should have two minutes of peace, a fullish health, 5 new injectors and a new check point, don't inject wait until the check point, inject and leg it.

11. If you go off the cliff and inject on the way down to the floor and inject as soon as you land you should not get hit again but still have 2 injectors left if you need them.

12. Leg it to the chopper.

Again I'm 100% for me the game glitched first try again, none of the go prone techniques and hide etc. work if you are getting hit when hidden so you will need to start this mission again.

For those of you dealing with the "mysterious damage" issue after calling in the chopper in "A Simple Rendezvous", this may help you. After trying many different things, this is what I did and got through it on my first attempt.

- I made my way to the radio. Killing everybody I saw around.
- I walked to the bridge behind, trying to make some enemies spawn. I killed around 7.
- If the alarm goes off, wait a little and it will stop. Not sure if this matters.
- I made sure I had 5 First Aids before going through the hole in the fence.
- As soon as I crossed the fence, I took shelter behind some big logs on the left, and went prone.
- I started getting bombarded by something, taking damage (this is the mysterious damage). I don't know where it comes from, it's definitely not enemies shooting at you. It feels like invisible mortar fire. Anyway, I kept healing myself and taking damage. I spent all but one of my First Aids before the damage stopped.
- I went back through the fence and got into the huts, looking for more First Aids. I think I got 4 when I was done.
- Head back outside again, going through the fence, but this time run all the way to the hill where the turret is. This time there will be no "mystery damage", but you will get shot a little bit. You may have to use one First Aid, if any.
- Once you get up there where the dot is, go prone and stay there until the timer runs out.
- I peeked my head a couple of times to try to take down some soldiers. I killed about 5-6, but I kept getting hit too much. I think it's better to just stay down the whole time. Enemies won't go up to where you are too much.
- When the timer was running out, I got the First Aid by the sandbags and made my way to the chopper. Heal first.
- Jump down the cliff, keep running and healing in case you need to. You will get shot at a lot, but keep healing and running.
- The cutscene will pop way before you get to the point in the map.
- That is it.

I hope this helps people out there dealing with this issue.
