If you're anything like me (and many other players) there are only a select few levels that really have you stumped. For most it is "MotorDome - Monster Truck Rampage" and "Gastown - VIP Derby". Here is my advice for those two races:

SHORT VERSION: Destroy the car that flips over at the beginning of the race, note where it respawns behind you, camp there and destroy it every time it respawns.

DETAILED VERSION: In the very beginning of the race there is a car that will always flip over. Using the Bulldozer (my preference for this technique), rush that car at the start of the race and destroy it with your A attack. It will respawn where it started at the beginning of the race within 2-3 seconds. All you have to do is take note of where it respawns and wait for it and destroy it every time it respawns. If you can do it without too much interruption, you will be able to destroy 35 cars within the time allotted. This may prove to be just as difficult to some as any other way of completing this track, but it worked for me so I thought I would share. Keep in mind the following hinderences when doing this: 1) Your car will never quite stop moving so you will always have to wobble back and forth a little. 2) The other cars can get in the way and knock you off track (considering the frustrating maneuverability of this game), but destroying any car will have the same effect with it respawning at the start, so you can switch cars if you need to. Also, if your car drives off and you lose track of it, don't fret, just keep destroying cars as they come around the track and your original car will be there for you to use this strategy with again soon. 3) When you damage a car, it will become enraged with an exclamation point above its hood and attack you. This ensures that the car you are destroying will come straight at you when it respawns. HOWEVER, the car will lose interest in you ever 2-3 respawns, so you should always be sure to be right there to destroy it. Any enraged car will also lose interest in you if you don't attack it for too long.

Practice without taking long breaks (days) in between.

Learn which part of the tracks you are comfortable speeding up on and which parts you need to take it slow.

Always drive over the groups of 3 & 4 cars slowly to make sure you get them all without having to turn around and around.

Believe that you will make it if you keep trying!

Here is a detailed solution of a possible way to complete the Monster Truck Rampage by my friend LauraBeag:

"After hours of tearing my hair out and gnashing my teeth to nothingness, I finally figured it out! Absurdly tough level compared to the rest of the game! The trick is not to crush the cars in the order they appear on the track. Assuming the first car is 1 and so on continuing along the track, crush them in this order: 1, 2, 3, 8, 4, 5, 6, 7. Then double back across the start line, using a nitro boost and try to land as near to the final two cars as possible. Then: 25, 24, 23, 22, 21. After that, at the intersection, return to driving the track as normal and take out: 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19. Drop off the cliff on the right hand side of the bus, and then continue backwards until you take out the remaining cars: 13, 12, 11, 10, 9. I treed lots of different orders, And got the gold the first time I tried this variation. By doing these parts of the track backward, you don't have to jump over the stupid buses. The one bus that is in you way (after 25, 24) I recommend driving around; trying to drive over them disorientates your truck. Other bits of advice: Set the controls to advanced. I recon it is impossible to do with basic controls, way too much precision required. The only nitro I used was to get back up the big slope before the finish line, I find it hard to control on such a precise level. But if you are confident using it to cover large spaces between cars and braking before you reach them, go for it. Learn the exact speed required to crush the cars without braking; accelerate up to them and just let the truck coast over them. Braking loses valuable seconds. If you drive over a car and it doesn't crumple, pause and restart. You pretty much need a perfect run. Obviously, upgrade your grip and speed fully! Be patient, it is doable! Good luck!"
