To unlock this achievement, you must obtain all 103 gold stars (★) in Woody’s Roundup (Toy Box Mode). In Toy Box mode, gold stars are awarded to you for completing various in-game tasks and objectives. To check your gold star progress, press
and select “Gold Stars”. You can also hit
to check your current mission list. For all of the 289 prize capsules locations, you can use the Prize Capsule checklist from the TA Walkthrough below to keep track of every item you pick up so that you don’t have to worry about missing anything:
Toy Story 3 WalkthroughBut be informed, there are some minor mistakes in the Prize Capsule checklist from the TA Walkthrough. Under Bandit Hideout, it has "Monsters Inc. Outfit" listed however this outfit does NOT exist in the game. Also the Mohawk Hair is incorrectly listed as "Mohawk Exit". Aside from that, the checklist is completely accurate.
Other important tips about the
Gold Super Star achievement include:
★ Always keep a checklist of all 289 prize capsules with you.
★ Never pick up any capsules without ticking them off your checklist.
★ The prize capsules from Al’s Toy Barn at the main menu game board do NOT count towards the Western Collector gold star.
★ You should try to unlock the Western Collector gold star as early as possible since it eliminates any need to backtrack.
★ As soon as possible, try to pick up all prize capsules and complete all missions for Sid’s Haunted House, Enchanted Glen, and Zurg’s Spaceport to avoid any glitched gold stars down the line.
★ If any specific capsules are ever referred to in this guide I will use a search tag based on Scrapdaddy’s super helpful guide linked below. Open the link and use the search function on your device if you ever need to know their exact location.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/xbox360/945065-toy-story-3/faq...For those who are just starting Toy Box mode for the first time or are restarting due to a glitch, here is how you systematically unlock this achievement while avoiding any glitches. Start a new Toy Box mode save and then follow the steps given inside the spoiler below for details:
*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Step 1: Start a brand new Toy Box save file and select Woody’s Roundup from the game board. Now before we start collecting prize capsules, we need to first complete several missions for Ham, Stinky Pete, and Slinky so that we can access all the areas and capsules. Refrain from picking up ANY prize capsules (ignore them for now) and first follow these steps exactly:
When Toy Box mode first starts, you should complete Ham’s first 4 missions. If you ever get stuck on any missions, press and then to use the compass to show you where to go. Later, after you complete Ham’s “Paint any Building in Town” mission, talk to him again and he will tell you that it looks like Stinky Pete could use some help.
★ Go talk to Stinky Pete and complete his “Mine Some Gold” mission. Talk to him again and he will say that Slinky is in dire need of assistance.
★ Go to Slinky’s Farm, talk to Slinky, and complete his “Deliver Cows” mission.
★ Now head back to the main town. Talk to Ham and complete his “Populate the Town” mission by purchasing the Pioneer from Al’s Toy Barn.
★ Finally, go back to Stinky Pete, talk to him and complete his “Conroy's fallen in the Well!” and “Rescue the Trapped Miner” missions. Talk to him again and Stinky Pete will give you the “Save the Mule” mission where you have to save his donkey. Receiving this mission will immediately open up another area for you.
You can now STOP HERE with completing missions for people.
Now, at THIS very moment you have officially opened up every area and prize capsule in the entire main town area. It’s time to start collecting all the prize capsules. Using your checklist, immediately start picking up all the prize capsules you see and ticking them off of your list (use the checklist linked above). Follow the bullets below for all the prize capsules you can pick up at this exact point in Toy Box mode (as well as notes for some of the missable capsules):
Main Town: Central Town, Cliffside Area, The Well, Seaside Area, and Donkey Mountain:
★ There are a total of 34 capsules sprawled across all these sections in the Main Town area.
★ So start by going around town and picking up any that you see by walking into them, double jumping, and climbing to reach the prize capsules scattered around the town in plain sight.
★ Jump into the well and search inside to find another 7 prize capsules.
★ You can pick up the “Goo Walls” prize capsule floating above Town Hall by hitting the button at the back of the Hat Shop and quickly running to the front of the Hat Shop and jumping and climbing up onto the dropped Hat sign. This will launch you straight into the capsule midair.
★ There is an easy-to-miss “Goo Doors” prize capsule located in Donkey Mountain. It can be reached by climbing to the highest point of the mountain. Then use to look down below and jump down onto the rail below that has two mine carts in its path. You’ll know it’s the correct railing because the track will have a “Slide on rails by jumping on them” tutorial capsule right before where the railing starts. Once you are riding on the rail, you’ll jump over two green mine carts and the rail will turn right into a tunnel containing this capsule (as well as four more mine carts to jump over).
Slinky’s Farm (The Ranch): Bandit Canyon, Horse Tracks, Corrals, Quarry + Cave:
★ There are a total of 35 capsules scattered throughout these areas. You should first purchase Bullseye from Al’s Toy Barn for 1000 coins so that you can access the Horse Track areas. Don’t bother picking up capsules around Slinky’s Farm until you have first purchased Bullseye. Buy him first then pick up all 35 of them:
★ The prize capsule for “Ballerina Outfit” is right behind the Blacksmith building.
★ The “Fist o’ Lantern” is located throughout the Horse Tracks area. You need to get off of Bullseye and then double jump onto a rock formation that is located just past an overpass (to your left) to reach it.
★ Don’t forget that you need to use your wall-jump move in order to pick up some capsules located in the back of Bandit Canyon.
★ There is a set of 4 missable Incredibles capsules in Bandit Canyon. They are the “Dori Outfit”, “Eve Outfit”, Jackjack Outfit”, and “Dash Outfit” prize capsules. To get to them, wall-jump and grind to the top of Bandit Canyon while picking up any capsules you see along the way. You will eventually come to a locked Bandit Hideout door. To the left of that door is a pathway. The pathway will take you to a wall-jump area that will lead you to the 4 capsules.
Once you have picked up every accessible capsule in the Main Town and Slinky’s Farm, SAVE your game.
Step 2: Now this is where you can just start to play Toy Box mode more freely since you will need to start completing a lot of missions to unlock the remaining areas at Al’s Toy Barn for purchase. You should now start primarily completing missions for Ham, Stinky Pete, and Slinky. Completing their missions will help you unlock more items at Al’s Toy Barn for purchase and progress the main story and earn you coins to purchase more buildings. Pick up any Pict-O-Matic discs you see lying around as well as completing missions for Wheezy and various other townspeople. Just be sure to tick any capsules off your list that you happen upon during this step. Aside from that, continue to clear missions and purchase buildings until all 3 of the bonus areas are unlocked in the shop for purchase. Once you complete Ham’s “Legendary Treasure” mission you should have enough coins to buy each of the 3 bonus areas. As soon as you can, immediately unlock the following:
★ The Suburbs (Dam): Unlocked after completing the “Blow up the Dam” mission from Ham
★ Sid's Haunted House: Purchase from Al’s Toy Barn for 5000 coins
★ Lotso's Enchanted Glen: Purchase from Al’s Toy Barn for 5000 coins
★ Zurg's Spaceport : Purchase from Al’s Toy Barn for 5000 coins
The whole point of this step is to buy all 3 of the bonus areas so that the doors to them will open, and you can enter each of them and start picking up all their capsules and completing all of their related missions. Please continue to keep your checklist ready if you pick up any prize capsules. When you pick up prize capsules during the “Blow up the Dam” and “Save Mayor Ham” missions then be sure to tick them off your checklist. Buy the 3 bonus areas but do NOT enter them until the next step. After you have completed enough missions and made enough money to purchase all 3 bonus areas, THEN you are ready to begin the next step.
Step 3: Each of the 3 bonus areas all function the same way. You enter them, the leader of the area will give you a fetch-type mission involving climbing a tall structure to retrieve a weapon, then you will enter said structure to complete a stage mission. For this step, you should respectively enter each of the 3 new areas:
★ Sid’s Haunted House: Has 53 total capsules found outside and inside the Haunted House Building stage along with five special haunted knight chess pieces lying around town.
★ Enchanted Glen: Has 46 total capsules found outside and inside the Enchanted Glen Tree Stage along with three special rainbow chests lying around town.
★ Zurg’s Spaceport: Has 37 total capsules found outside the spaceport and inside the spaceport stage along with three special Zurg boxes lying around town.
Then, using your checklist, tick off every prize capsule you pick up outside around that area’s tall structure. Then climb up, pick up the weapon (rod, wand, laser pistol), and enter the stage and continue to tick off capsules until you unlock the "Explorer" gold star for that stage. Do NOT leave any of the 3 stages (Haunted House, Enchanted Glen, Spaceport) until you pop the respective "Explorer" gold star for that stage. Upon exiting each of the stages, use the respective new weapon to open the 5 knight chess pieces, 3 rainbow treasure chests, and 3 Zurg boxes located throughout the towns. This will unlock the "Customizer" gold star for each of the 3 areas. Now every prize capsule related to these 3 areas is picked up and accounted for.
Note: You can do Step 2 in any order you want and you don’t need to buy all 3 bonus areas at once. Just make sure you follow this step in sequence and pick up every prize capsule in all 3 areas. Don’t start Step 3 until you have picked up every single capsule related to the 3 bonus areas.
Step 4: Talk to Rex, Lotso, and Zurg and complete ALL their missions right away (including the related missions given to you by the Stinky Pete, as well as the Ghost Pirate and Merlin Wizard you have to create). This will unlock the Spooky Sheriff, Enchanted Sheriff, and Space Sheriff gold stars. You now have every gold star that is known to glitch on people. Then on to one final step.
Step 5: Finally, you are going to mop up every remaining prize capsule to unlock the Western Collector gold star right now. If you haven’t already, talk to Ham and complete all of his missions and also, if you haven’t already, purchase the Sports Car, Stunt Park, Hotel, and Candy Shop from Al’s Toy Barn. The point in this final step is to get access to every area in Toy Box mode so you can go there and quickly pick up every remaining prize capsule located there. At this point you should be able to pick up all prize capsules in these areas:
★ The Suburbs (Dam Town) - There are 37 total prize capsules here.
★ There are 8 capsules here that you can simply pick up (some you probably already got during the “Blow Up the Dam” mission). One of which, that’s suspended midair.
★ For the airborne (“Dodgeball Outfit”) capsule suspended midair in this town, you must first purchase the Hotel. After it’s built, push the button on the Hotel building and jump onto the lowered bed (it will launch you straight into the capsule).
★ The other 29 prize capsules are inside the Candy Shop which must first be purchased and built before you can pick up those capsules. After it’s purchased and built in the Suburbs, walk up to the Candy Shop and press to take out your ball. Hold , aim for the button at the top of the building, and hit it repeatedly with balls until all 29 of the prize capsules pop out of the dispenser for you to pick up.
Bandit Hideout - There are 10 total prize capsules here and you should receive them through natural story progression when saving Ham during the “Save Mayor Ham” mission. They are found in the shacks when you destroy them with TNT. They will automatically home into you after destroying each shack and there are 2 prize capsules in each of the five shacks.
Stunt Park - There are 37 prize capsules here and due to their difficult and obscured locations, they may take some time for you to pick up. This is why we are saving this area for last. Just remember to save before entering and exiting so that they are all accounted for. There are two sections of the Stunt Park: the trick park and the ramp races. Pick up all the capsules and tick them off the checklist accordingly:
★ You will need to drive into the mission pillars of light to initiate the Bowling Challenge and Halfpipe missions in order to reach some of these capsules.
★ The Halfpipe mission will allow you to reach 2 capsules. Hit the ramp upwards and press to maintain speed to reach them.
★ The Bowling Challenge mission will allow you to carefully drive forward and pick up another 2 capsules on the bowling lane that are normally suspended midair.
★ The Hot Rod Doors (CP227) is an easily missable capsule located on the canyons. It’s to the right above a u-shaped ramp in the dirt. Drive up above to the right of the ramp until you see it.
★ You will know you picked up all 37 prize capsules here because you will receive the gold star for “Western Collector” after you pick up the final prize capsule (assuming you followed this entire spoiler guide up to this point).
At this point the “Western Collector” gold star should have unlocked, if not, do some backtracking and double check your checklist (also see “Western Collector” below for prize capsules you may have missed). If you unlock your initial gold stars based on the steps above, save your game, and then proceed to get all the remaining gold stars, you are sure to unlock this achievement since nothing else can ever really glitch on you at that point. I call it glitch-control and it can help you unlock this achievement without any possible setbacks.
In summary, you must focus on obtaining all Explorer, Customizer, Sheriff, and Western Collector gold stars then save your game, and then mop up the rest of the gold stars at your mercy. This eliminates any chance of having a situation where you are stuck at 102 out of 103 stars not knowing what to do next. Do NOT save the "Western Collector" gold star for last, do it first! Ignore all the miscellaneous tasks when you first start Toy Box mode and solely focus on opening up every area and getting every prize capsule until you unlock Western Collector, while stacking other gold stars along the way.
Now with all of that out of the way. Here are all 103 gold star missions and how to unlock them:
1. Amateur Bug CollectorYou’ve rescued 3 caterpillars!
Hint: For this gold star, you must revert 3 townspeople back to their human form after they have been transformed to caterpillars by Pixies. This gold star is unmissable and you will receive this at the beginning of the Enchanted Glen stage quest. When you first enter the stage you are given the objective of using your wand to transform the caterpillars back to normal.
Approach the caterpillars and press
to turn them back into townspeople again. Repeat until this unlocks.
For more information on this gold star, please see “Master Pixie Slayer”
2. Amateur Ghost SuckerYou’ve captured 3 ghosts with the lightning rod!
Hint: This gold star is for capturing 3 ghosts with the lightning rod weapon. You first gain access to the lightning rod by purchasing Sid’s Haunted House, entering it’s area, and completing Rex’s mission by climbing the house and retrieving the rod at the top of it. You will then be transported inside the Haunted House for a quest mission.
While making your way through the house you will find ghosts that you can shoot with the lightning rod by pressing
. This will capture them into your rod. Now repeat for 2 more ghosts to unlock this star. You will need to use this mechanic again to possess a townsperson later in the game for the “Spooky Sheriff” gold star and for a Pict-O-Matic mission.
If you missed this gold star after exiting the house then don’t worry. Once you exit the Haunted House, Rex will occasionally give you missions to stop Gargoyles that are attacking town and turning townspeople to stone. Usually ghosts will spawn in the town with them (as well as outside the Haunted House) so you’ll still have opportunities to unlock this gold star.
3. Amateur HaunterYou’ve possessed 3 townspeople.
Hint: After unlocking the lightning rod from completing Sid’s Haunted House stage, find 3 ghosts roaming around the Haunted House area, town, or during “Stop the Gargoyles” missions and zap them with your rod by pressing
.
After the ghost has been captured into your wand, find a townsperson, approach them and zap them with the rod to possess them. They will turn into a ghost phantom version of themselves. Now repeat until you unlock this star.
Note: You will need to dress up a townsperson as a Pirate and possess them with a ghost so that you can receive missions towards the “Spooky Sheriff” gold star. So you should also try for that while working towards this.
4. Amateur KickerYou’ve drop kicked 5 townspeople
Hint: Simply pick up a townsperson by pressing the
button. Jump (
) and hit
to kick them. Repeat this on 4 other townspeople and you'll receive this gold star.
5. Amateur PhotographerYou took 10,000 points worth of pictures
Hint: In order to obtain this gold star you must first unlock and then purchase the Camera from Al’s Toy Barn. After you buy the camera, you can access it by pressing left or right on the d-pad and selecting it. It seems the best way to take high scoring photos is to dress up townspeople in interesting clothing and customizing the Town Hall. Then, take a photo of Town Hall with all the dressed up townspeople in the same shot. Missions can also be accepted from Wheezy the toy penguin which will make progress toward this star as well.
You do NOT need a 10,000 score photo to obtain this gold star, you just need 10,000 cumulative (total) points to unlock it. You will probably unlock this while completing missions for Wheezy over the course of working towards other missions and gold stars.
6. Apprentice PainterYou’ve painted 3 buildings
Hint: This gold star is for simply painting 3 different buildings in Woody’s Roundup. For more information on this gold star, please see “Master Painter”
7. Barrel BusterYou’ve mastered the Barrel Buster trick!
Hint: For all gold stars that are related to performing tricks or stunts you will need to have already purchased the Stunt Park from Al’s Toy Barn as well as the Sports Car. Then, drive the car into the Stunt Park leading from a pathway from Slinky’s Farm. Also, you must first know the 3 moves you can do while airborne:
Roll: These are done by Holding
and moving
or
(while in the air)
Flip: These are done by Holding
and moving
or
(while in the air)
Spin: These are done by Holding
and moving
or
(while in the air)
For the Barrel Buster trick, you must perform 2 rolls and then 1 spin mid-air before your vehicle hits the ground. So enter the Stunt Park and go into the ramp race section. Drive into the Bronze Big Loop Challenge mission pillar and start it by pressing
then
. This ramp challenge has some of the best ramps for getting as much air as possible so hit the ramps and follow the notations above to perform the trick. You can also try driving through the green and pink goo rings to change your vehicle size which may help you perform some tricks better.
Please note the sound effect chime confirming every time you successfully perform 1 move in the air. This will help you confirm that you are doing a trick (or parts of a trick) correctly.
Note: Because a lot of the stunt related stars nearly stack with one another, you might accidentally do tricks for other gold stars while focusing on one of them. For this reason I strongly suggest you frequently check your gold star progress in the pause menu to avoid working towards stunt gold stars you may already have. You should also try to do all of these stunt-related gold stars in 1 sitting and tick them off a list for convenience. Here are all 13 of the gold star missions that are related to performing tricks in the Stunt Park:
★ Barrel Buster
★ Bone Orchard
★ Hang Time
★ High Roller
★ Lariat
★ Long Haul
★ Palomino
★ Quick Draw
★ Rodeo Wrangler
★ Rolly Polly
★ Saddle Blanket
★ Spinner
★ Tripple Flipper
8. Big SpenderYou’ve spent 30,000 gold!
Hint: You will unlock this gold star over time while completing missions, purchasing buildings, and more. As you play through Toy Box mode you will continue to earn money from breaking objects and completing various tasks. If you complete the final Boss Ham mission you will receive 25, 000 gold and you can use that gold to buy nearly everything remaining at Al’s Toy Barn. Since you need to buy everything in the shop anyway for an achievement, this star will surely unlock in due time.
9. Bone OrchardYou’ve mastered the Bone Orchard trick!
Hint: For the Bone Orchard trick, you must perform 2 spins and then 1 roll mid-air before your vehicle hits the ground. So enter the Stunt Park and go into the ramp race section. Drive into the Bronze Big Loop Challenge mission pillar and start it by pressing
then
. This ramp challenge has the best ramps for getting as much air as possible so hit the ramps and follow the notations below to perform the trick:
Spin: These are done by Holding
and moving
or
(while in the air)
Roll: These are done by Holding
and moving
or
(while in the air)
Please note the sound effect chime confirming every time you successfully perform 1 move in the air. This will help you confirm that you are doing a trick (or parts of a trick) correctly. Also, you can try driving into the green and pink goo rings to alter your vehicle size which can influence how long you stay in the air.
For more information, see "Barrel Buster"
10. Breaking BoardsYou've smashed 25 crates and barrels
Hint: You will receive this gold star over the natural progression of Toy Box mode. There are crates and barrels scattered everywhere in Toy Box mode and you can break them in various ways but more practically with your shoulder charge attack by pressing
. Simply go around the main town area shoulder charging any boxes or barrels you see and this star will unlock in no time.
11. Cow in the WellYou’ve thrown a cow in the well!
Hint: Simply go to Slinky’s Farm and pick up one of his cows with
button. There is a well right next to his cow pen (corral). Throw the cow into the well with
and you’ll receive this gold star.
12. Cow TipperYou’ve shoulder charged 10 cows!
Hint: Simply hit the cows at Slinky’s Farm with your shoulder charge attack by pressing the
button until you receive this gold star.
13. Customizer of the FutureYou’ve collected all of the customizations for Zurg’s Spaceport!
Hint: You’ll receive this gold star upon collecting all 37 prize capsules related to Zurg’s Spaceport theme. The prize capsules you must collect for this gold star include 37 capsules found outside and inside the Spaceport along with 3 purple Zurg Boxes throughout the towns. To keep track of them, click the link below and scroll down to the Zurg’s Spaceport section:
Toy Story 3 WalkthroughMost prize capsules are in plain sight but here are some possible capsules that you may have missed:
★ Space Ranger Outfit, Tinfoil Hat, Alien T-shirt, and Renegade Hair: All 4 of these are hidden around the top of the Spaceport structure right where you first pick up the Laser Pistol.
★ Astronomy Globe (CP100) - After defeating the first set of Zurg Bots and using the 1st laser cannon, you’ll drop down and come to 4 rotating platforms with a Zurg bot in the middle. Turn left. It’s tucked away in the corner.
★ Spaceport Walls: It’s hidden behind the spaceport structure outside. Just hug the canyon walls until you see it.
After you finish the stage, use your Laser Pistol to open up the 3 Zurg Boxes pieces scattered all over town. They are located in the following areas:
★ Zurg Fro Hair (ZB1) - Found in the Cliff area near crashed UFO
★ Star Soldier Outfit (ZB2) - Found in a cavern near Slinky’s Farm
★ Zurg Helmet Hat (ZB3) - Found in a passageway between Donkey Mountain and The Suburbs
This is one of three “Customizer” gold stars and some tend to glitch on people despite obtaining all the necessary prize capsules. Remember to follow the steps in the spoiler guide above for this one. Segment your game saves, only save before and after obtaining every prize capsule in the Spaceport. If you have all 37 of these capsules and it still didn’t unlock then try backtracking or you can revert to an old save and re-pick them up again. If all else fails, then you might have to start a new Woody’s Roundup save file.
14. Demolitions ExpertYou’ve startled 20 townspeople with TNT!
Hint: You can purchase the TNT dispenser from Al's Toy Barn. Once you have purchased it, various TNT dispensers will be made available throughout the main town. Approach one of them and pick up the TNT barrel and throw it at various townspeople in the main town repeatedly. More TNT barrels will dispense as you take them away. Continue to throw TNT barrels around the town and you will eventually earn this gold star upon hitting your 20th townsperson.
15. Dragon RallyYou’ve completed all the Dragon races!
Hint: This gold star is awarded to you after completing all 12 of the Dragon races with at least a bronze. In order to work towards this gold star you must do two things:
★ Purchased Lotso’s Enchanted Glen
★ Completed the Enchanted Glen stage quest inside the tree
After that, you can find the green dragon roaming about the Enchanted Glen or by summoning it from Al's Toy Barn. Walk up to it and press
to get on and ride it. The races are found via 3 light pillars scattered around the Enchanted Glen, Main Town, and Zurg’s Spaceport. After clearing a race, return to the same light pillar and start a mission to begin the next one.
Just remember that you do NOT need to collect all the coins in these races. You only to need collect enough coins to earn Bronze which is usually only around half of the grand total (then you can let the time expire). I still insist on trying to get gold because it will speed up your progress toward this gold star; but it's your choice. A huge tip to this is to go to a Goo machine, hit the button for it to spew out green goo, pick up the goo and throw it at the dragon to make it bigger. Now get on the dragon, and start working on the races. Making the dragon bigger will make it easier for you to collect the coins during the dragon race and easier for you to reach higher areas. Normally, the hit-box for the coins is finicky so increasing the dragons hit-box makes these races much easier. Here is the full list of races and the least amount of coins you need to qualify for bronze in each one:
Enchanted Glen Dragon Races
★ Blue Mushroom Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 8 coins)
★ Dragon's Breath Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 8 coins)
★ Fairy Wing Folly Race (Bronze Qualify: 8 coins)
★ Fireballs-A-Flying Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 35 coins)
Main Town Dragon Races
★ Dragon Run Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 5 coins)
★ Treasure Trove Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 5 coins)
★ Fuzzy Dragon Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 8 coins)
★ Crazy Dragon Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 20 coins)
Zurg's Spaceport Dragon Races
★ Spaceport Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 5 coins)
★ Enchanted Crate Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 5 coins)
★ Floating Fury Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 5 coins)
★ Space Dragon Coin Race (Bronze Qualify: 20 coins)
16. Enchanted CustomizerYou’ve collected all of the customizations for the Enchanted Glen!
Hint: You’ll receive this gold star upon collecting all 46 prize capsules related to the Enchanted Glen theme. The prize capsules you must collect for this gold star include 46 capsules found outside and inside the Enchanted Glen along with the 3 rainbow treasure chests found around town. There aren't really any missable capsules of note for the Enchanted Glen as most are in plain sight. But to keep track of them, click the link below and scroll down to the Enchanted Glen section:
Toy Story 3 WalkthroughAfter you finish the stage quest and exit the tree, use your Wand to open up the 3 Rainbow Treasure Chests scattered all over town. They are located in the following areas:
1. Rainbow Outfit (RC1) - Near the seaside area next to the entrance of the Enchanted Glen
2. Mushroom Hat (RC2) - Next to the well at Slinky’s Farm
3. Mushroom Outfit (RC3) - Elevated area between Slinky’s Farm and Bandit Mountain
This is one of three “Customizer” gold stars and some tend to glitch on people despite obtaining all the necessary prize capsules. Remember to follow the steps in the spoiler guide above for these type of gold stars. Segment your game saves, only save before and after obtaining every prize capsule in the Enchanted Glen. If you have all 46 of these capsules and it still didn’t unlock then try backtracking or you can revert to an old save and re-pick them up again. Otherwise you might have to start a new Woody’s Roundup save file.
17. Enchanted SheriffYou’ve completed all of the Enchanted Glen missions!
Hint: For this gold star, you must complete all missions related to the Enchanted Glen. The first mission you’ll complete is from Lotso where you retrieve the magic wand on top of the giant tree. Obtaining the wand will transport you to a tree cavern stage. After you exit the Enchanted Glen Tree stage, you can talk to Lotso again for more missions. You need to complete the following missions:
★ Enchant the Town: Make the tailor shop and at least 3 townspeople look enchanted. Don’t forget to put pixie wings on someone!
★ Save the Princess: Save the princess! She’s on top of the mountain where Stinky Pete’s mule goes.
Next, you’ll need to create Merlin the Wizard. Make sure you already have the (CP184) Merlin outfit prize capsule located on the Enchanted Glen tree. Throw a townsperson into the Tailor Shop and dress them up with the Merlin Outfit and Wizard Hat. When he comes back out you’ll be able to talk to him and receive the following missions from him:
★ Lost Book of Spells: Retrieve Merlin’s book of spells from the pixies.
★ Miss Spelled: Turn Merlin back into his “wizard” self.
You can turn Merlin back to his normal self by throwing some pink goo on him. After you complete the mission you should will receive this gold star.
18. Engine CityYou’ve customized 5 buildings with the engine roof.
Hint: Before you can get this gold star, you will need the Hot Rod Engine (CP221) prize capsule found in the Stunt Park areas. You will also need to have purchased and have built at least 5 buildings that allow for roof customizations. You can ONLY customize the following buildings with the engine roof:
★ Saloon
★ Hat Shop
★ Barber Shop
★ Jail House
★ Barn
★ Muffin Shop
★ Post Office
Once you have the Hot Rod Engine, go back to the Main Town, Suburbs, and Ranch areas, walk up to the front of a building that has a customizable roof, and press
to customize. Select “ROOF” and choose the design that looks like a retro steel engine (with 2 red circles). Repeat for another 4 buildings and you should unlock this gold star.
19. Engine of DestructionYou’ve destroyed 50 objects with the Dragon!
Hint: The dragon is first introduced during the Enchanted Glen mission where you must escape the cave. You’ll have to transform the caterpillars back into people with your magic wand to free the dragon. After you free it, get on the green dragon by pressing
. By pressing
you can shoot fireballs that destroy various objects. Repeatedly destroy any objects you come across with your fireball and you will receive this gold star over time. If you don’t have this by the time you complete the Enchanted Glen stage, you can get back on the Dragon once you’re back outside and ride around shooting objects until it unlocks.
I personally recommend you save this for later when you’re doing the Dragon Races for the “Dragon Rally” gold star. You can shoot fireballs while collecting coins and unlock this while completing the races. You won’t have to waste time doing this separately since you can unlock it while working towards the races but this is just a suggestion.
20. Farmer in the WellYou’ve thrown all the farm animals in the well!
Hint: This is a quick and easy gold star that simply requires you to throw a cow, pig, chicken, and goat into a well. You can receive this star by first going to Slinky’s Farm. You can find each of the 4 aforementioned animals in this area where the pens are located. Pick each of the animals up with
button and throw them into the well to the right of Slinky’s cow pen to unlock this gold star.
Note: You can throw these animals into any well (at any point) but this well is the closest and most convenient.
21. Gone Wanderin'You’ve travelled a long distance on foot!
Hint: This gold star is awarded for walking over an unspecified distance on foot. You will receive this gold star over the natural progression of Toy Box mode while working towards the other 102 gold stars.

Once you have access to these items, summon the Sports Car from Al’s Toy Barn and drive to the Stunt Park located through the tunnel on your right as you’re entering Slinky’s Farm. While at the Stunt Parks, try to hit ramps at high speeds to get the most air. You can also try driving through green or pink goo rings to change the size of your vehicle. It seems you can get more hang time depending on the size of your vehicle. At that point, Bandits will frequently spawn throughout the town, sometimes 1 or 2 at a time. You’ll know they are around because you can hear them laughing while lurking and tiptoeing about. button to grab them, walk them over to the Jail building, and throw them into it with
.
The best time to work towards this is whenever there is a Bank Robbery or “Save the Stagecoach” mission given to you by Ham. These missions usually spawn 5 or more bandits at a time and you can throw each one into the jail building for the best progress. Just try to work towards this one over time while performing other tasks and it will unlock with time.
29. Jumpin' Jackrabbits! You’ve jumped a long distance with Bullseye!
Hint: This gold star is for jumping an unspecified distance while riding on Bullseye. The exact distance is unknown but you’ll likely receive this star while picking up capsules throughout the Horse Track area. Whenever he gives you this mission, go to the main town, use the d-pad to select your wand, approach any caterpillars you see, and press
to change them back to normal. Repeat 9 more times and you should receive this gold star.
You might have to wait for the Pixies to change enough townspeople to caterpillars to make progress toward this. To avoid having to wait for this mission to occur again, you should try to wait for the Pixies to change enough townspeople to caterpillars and continue to use your Magic Wand to change them back to normal until you receive this gold star (then you can get rid of the Pixies afterward).
41. Master BuilderYou’ve built 10 buildings!
Hint: You will unlock this gold star over the natural progression of Toy Box mode. As you complete missions and earn coins, you will purchase buildings from Al's Toy Barn which is already required to advance the story anyway. You will likely earn this gold star half-way into the mode.

Hint: You will need to purchase Sid's Haunted House before attempting this gold star. After you have purchased the area and entered, you will need to climb to the top of the Haunted House to retrieve the lightning rod. Then, you will be transported inside the Haunted House where you can fire your lightning rod at various gargoyles and ghosts inside. If you don't get this gold star while inside the House there will still be opportunities to get it after exiting the Haunted House. Ghosts will spawn outside the Haunted House as well as during missions when gargoyles attacks the main town so you will have plenty of chances to unlock this gold star.
43. Master GrowerYou’ve made 10 things bigger!
Hint: In order to unlock this gold star you must first purchase the goo machine from Al's Toy Barn (after it becomes available for sale). After you buy it, the goo machine will spawn in multiple areas, the closest being the Jail building. Go to it and press the green button. The machine will spew out green goo that you can then pick up and throw at people or objects causing them to grow bigger. Continue to do this until you unlock this gold star.
44. Master HaunterYou’ve possessed 10 townspeople.
Hint: Once you have the lightning rod from Sid's Haunted House, you can zap ghosts roaming around the Haunted House area or main town (during gargoyle attacks) then, while the ghost is captured into the rod, shoot the ghost at a townsperson to possess them. Now repeat until you unlock this gold star.
45. Master Monster SlayerYou’ve destroyed 10 gargoyles!
Hint: Destroy 10 Gargoyles. This is easily done with the Lightning Rod. After you beat Sid’s Haunted House, Rex will occasionally notify you: “The gargoyles are turning everyone to stone! You have to stop them!”. Then you can go to the Main Town and zap any gargoyles you see with your lightning rod. Wait for the next time Rex asks for help, repeat until you receive this gold star.
46. Master PainterYou’ve painted 19 buildings!
Hint: For this gold star, you will need to paint a total of 19 buildings. In order to obtain this gold star you will need to have already purchased and had built most if not all of the buildings from Al’s Toy Barn. Then, walk around the main towns, stand in front of them, and hit
to customize them. From here you can select “WALLS” and paint them a different color. You can paint them all the vertical red paint style as suggested. Here is a list of all the buildings that can be purchased and painted:
★ Saloon
★ General Store
★ Town Hall
★ Jail Building
★ Flower Shop
★ Bank
★ Tailor
★ Sawmill
★ Hat Shop
★ Barber Shop
★ Newspaper
★ Barn
★ Candy Shop
★ Muffin Shop
★ School
★ Hotel
★ Post Office
As you can see there are only 17 total buildings in Toy Box mode and you need to paint 19 for the gold star. This means that in order to obtain this gold star, you'll have to paint all of 17 possible buildings then save your game. Exit Toy Box mode and then reload your game save. Once you're back in Toy Box mode, re-paint another several buildings and this should unlock after re-painting 2 or so buildings.
47. Master Pixie SlayerYou’ve defeated 10 pixies!
Hint: For this gold star, you must revert 10 townspeople back to their human form after they have been transformed to caterpillars by pixies. In order to work towards this star, you must have already done the following tasks:
★ Purchased Lotso’s Enchanted Glen from Al’s Toy Barn
★ Completed the mission stage quest inside the Enchanted Glen Tree
After you finish the Rainbow Wand fetch-type quest and exit the stage, Pixies will then randomly spawn and attack the Main Town area on occasion. Whenever this occurs, Lotso will notify you mid-gameplay with a message stating: “Your rainbow magic wand will make quick work of those pixies”. Shortly after, pixies will spawn around the town and attack townspeople by transforming them into caterpillars. Press left or right on the d-pad and select the Rainbow Wand and press
to hit any caterpillars you see with magic (to turn them back to normal). Repeat this 9 times to get the star. You may have to sit back and wait for the pixie fairies to transform some of the townspeople before you can make progress toward this. Try not to kill any pixies until they have transformed enough townspeople for you to unlock this gold star.
48. Master Pixie TorcherYou’ve torched 10 pixies with the Dragon!
Hint: You will likely unlock this gold star during the Enchanted Glen stage quest. While riding the green dragon, press
to shoot fireballs at Pixies. However, if you don't unlock this star before exiting the Enchanted Glen stage, then simply wait for Lotso to give you a "Pixies are turning people into caterpillars" mission. Once he gives you the mission, go to the main town on the Dragon and shoot the Pixies with fireballs. You can also find Pixies that re-spawn in the Enchanted Glen area.
49. Master Re-animatorYou’ve created 10 zombie townspeople!
Hint: You must create 10 total zombie townspeople by throwing townspeople into the Tailor and editing zombie outfit parts onto them. In order to obtain this gold star, you must first have picked up the following prize capsules:
★ Zombie Boy Outfit
★ Zombie Girl Outfit
★ Zombie Girl Hair
If you don't already have them, these can all be found right outside around Sid's Haunted House throughout the graveyards. Once you have those items, pick up 10 different townspeople, throw them into the Tailor Shop, and dress them up as zombies. You will likely unlock this gold star while completing some of the required Pict-O-Matic missions. This gold star should unlock after the 10th zombie person emerges from the Tailor Shop.
50. Master SculptorYou’ve freed 10 townspeople from stone!
Hint: After completing and exiting Sid's Haunted House stage quest, Rex will periodically inform you of gargoyles attacking the town. Wait for them to turn enough townspeople to stone and then free them by zapping them with your lightning rod. Repeat until this gold star unlocks.
51. Master ShrinkerYou’ve made 10 things smaller!
Hint: This gold star is the same as "Master Grower" except you use the pink goo to make 10 different people or objects smaller. Therefore, assuming you already have purchased the goo machine, press the pink button, wait for it to spew out the pink goo, and then pick it up and throw it at various people or objects. Hit the pink button again and repeat until you have shrunk 10 different things in total.
52. Master SorcererYou’ve completed all of the wizard’s missions!
Hint: In order to obtain this star you must first complete the following objectives:
★ Completed the Enchanted Glen stage
★ Picked up the Prize Capsule for Wizard Hat and Outfit
Once you have done this, find a townsperson and throw them into the tailor shop. Dress them up in a wizard outfit and hat. When they come back out you’ll then be able to receive missions from the wizard. Talk to it. There are 2 missions you must complete for this gold star: “Lost Book of Spells” and “Miss Spelled”
After completing both you will receive this gold star.
53. Miner 49erYou’ve mined 15 gold veins!
Hint: Gold veins are first introduced to you by Stinky Pete at the very start of Toy Box mode. Simply walk up to them and press
to mine them. Gold veins will always respawn after a short while so you can mine the same vein repeatedly until you unlock this gold star.
54. Mission MasterYou’ve completed 50 missions!
Hint: This gold star is for completing 50 missions. You will receive this gold star over the natural progression of Toy Box mode. You will likely receive this gold star while working towards the 102 other gold stars.
For more information, see the “Western Collector” gold star description and hint further below.
55. Moving TargetYou’ve landed a paratrooper on the stagecoach!
Hint: For this gold star you must land a paratrooper on the stagecoach whenever it’s delivering a gift box or being held up by bandits. First you will need to purchase the Paratroopers from Al's Toy Barn for 1000 coins (after they become available for purchase). Once you have purchased the Paratrooper from Al’s Toy Barn, you can now access any of the paratroopers located throughout the towns by approaching them and pressing
to pick them up. Press
to throw them and you will then be put into a mini-game where you try and land the paratrooper at target destinations marked with a light pillar and smoke. Using the left stick, you can maneuver the paratrooper in the air and press
to drop them. Don’t forget to hold Down on the left stick to delay your momentum making it easier to land on the targets. However instead of smoke targets, you’ll be landing a paratrooper on the stagecoach for this gold star. There are two ways to do this:
The
first method to get this gold star is by buying an item. To get the stagecoach to come out, you can buy an item from Al’s Toy Barn. Then, wait for the stagecoach to ride through town and deliver the gift box. That will be your chance to land a paratrooper on it. The most convenient spot is on top of the Saloon building. After you buy an item, quickly get on top of the Saloon, wait for it to stop to deliver the gift box, and use the paratrooper and try to land it on the stagecoach before it leaves.
The
second and easier method is to wait for Ham to give you the “Save the Stagecoach” bandit mission. He will randomly give it to you over time and you don’t need to speak to him to receive it. He will announce it just like he does for the “The Bank is Being Robbed” missions by saying that the stagecoach usually doesn’t take so long to come to town. During this mission, the stagecoach will be held up by bandits near the cliffside area so it will be very easy to land a paratrooper on it without it moving or driving away. Once you receive the mission, go to the paratrooper atop the Cliffside Area and land it on the stagecoach. This method is easier because the stagecoach will be completely still and you won’t have a time limit to land the paratrooper before it leaves unlike this first method.
Note: There have been reports that this gold star is missable if you clear “The Pig Finish” Boss fight against Ham and purchase all items in the shop before doing it. This is due to the fact that the stagecoach will no longer have reason to ride through town since it will have no items to deliver to you and Ham will no longer be there to give you Bandit missions.
However, after personally testing this, I can officially confirm that you CAN in fact still receive “Save the Stagecoach” missions after you completed “The Pig Finish” mission. Ham will still announce the mission to you over time despite not physically being the Main Town any more. To receive the mission (post-main story missions), you will simply have to wait around until Ham randomly announces it to you.
56. On A MissionYou’ve completed 10 missions!
Hint: You will receive this star over the natural progression of unlocking other gold stars.
57. Operation WellYou’ve landed a paratrooper in a well!
Hint: Once you have purchased the paratrooper from Al’s Toy Barn, you can access any of the paratroopers located throughout the towns by approaching it and pressing
to pick it up. Press
to throw them and you will then be put into a mini-game where you try and land the paratrooper at target destinations marked with a light pillar and smoke. Using the left stick, you can maneuver the paratrooper in the air and press
to drop them. Don’t forget to hold Down on the left stick to delay your momentum making it easier to land on the targets. For this gold star, you will need to land a paratrooper inside a nearby well.
The easiest one is the paratrooper located on the Cliffside. It will be on top of the hill where you used TNT to destroy a canyon during the “Mount Toymore” townsperson mission. It’s also where the Abominable Snowman usually spawns. Go to the paratrooper there and press
, pan the camera right towards the Town Hall clock, and hit
. Now, try to land the paratrooper inside the well that is close by straight ahead.
58. PalominoYou’ve mastered the Palomino trick!
Hint: For the Palomino trick, you must perform 2 rolls and then 1 flip mid-air before your vehicle hits the ground. So enter the Stunt Park and go into the ramp race section. Drive into the Bronze Big Loop Challenge mission pillar and start it by pressing
then
. This ramp challenge has the best ramps for getting as much air as possible so hit the ramps and follow the notations below to perform the trick:
Roll: These are done by Holding
and moving Left or Right (while in the air)
Flip: These are done by Holding
and moving Up or Down (while in the air)
Please note the sound effect chime confirming every time you successfully perform 1 move in the air. This will help you confirm that you are doing a trick (or parts of a trick) correctly.
For more information, see "Barrel Buster"
59. Parachute KingYou’ve hit 15 Paratrooper Targets!
Tips: For this gold star you must land paratroopers on a total of 15 targets marked with a light pillar and smoke. First you will need to purchase the Paratroopers from Al's Toy Barn for 1000 coins (after they become available for purchase). Once you have purchased the Paratrooper from Al’s Toy Barn, you can now access any of the paratroopers located throughout the towns by approaching it and pressing
to pick it up. Then by pressing
, you will be put into a mini-game where you try and land the paratrooper at target destinations marked with a light pillar and smoke. Using the left stick, you can maneuver the paratrooper in the air and press
to drop them. Don’t forget to hold
on the left stick to delay your momentum making it easier to land on the targets.
There are multiple paratrooper locations throughout the Main Town, Slinky’s Farm, and The Suburbs and each one paratrooper has multiple targets you can land on. Therefore, try to find a paratrooper and land on as many nearby targets as possible (Main Town and Slinky’s Farm has plenty).
Note: You will also unlock the ”Airborn Ranger” achievement after obtaining this gold star.

Hint: You will need to find and collect all 6 of the Pict-O-Matic Discs scattered around Woody’s Roundup. Here are the locations of all 6 discs:
★ The first disc requires you to start the "Lost and Found" mission early into the game and then it will appear in the Main Town area on a hill near the pink pig machine (for missions).
★ The second disc is right next to the blacksmith near Slinky Dog’s farm.
★ The third disc is found after finishing the "Blow up the Dam" mission. This will open up the new Suburbs town with Bo Peep. Purchase the Hotel and once it's built, go up the stairs of the hotel and it will be on the top floor.

63. Picto-MasterYou’ve completed all the Pict-O-Matic missions!
Hint: For this star you must complete all 40 Pict-O-Matic missions. The Pict-O-Matic is a device you use to fulfill missions where you dress up townspeople and aliens like the photos given for the mission. You will need to have already purchased the Barber Shop and Tailor buildings to do these. Simply grab townspeople and throw them into the Tailor and Barber shops to edit new outfits and hairstyles onto them. Some missions require you to dress up one townsperson while others will require multiple. Also, some missions require you to do things outside of dressing up townspeople. Once you fulfill a picture a brief and amusing cutscene will play to indicate that you have cleared that Pict-O-Mission. Here are some general tips for these missions:
★ Save this star until after you unlock Western Collector so that you will have all the hats, haircuts, and outfits, necessary to fulfill all the missions.
★ Use your real-life smartphone to take photos of the mission pictures so that you can scroll through your phone instead of pulling out the Pict-O-Matic every time you need to check how to dress someone.
★ If you fulfilled a mission yet the mission won’t complete (indicated by cutscene) try following the photo EXACTLY including hair color.
★ Some photos contain outfits that do not exist, therefore try to follow only the hats, outfit, etc. instead to fulfill the mission.
You will also receive an achievement upon completing all 40 missions. For a detailed guide on all 40 missions, see the Mission Guide by clicking the link below:

to use it. You can use the bumpers to zoom and

Then take a photo of the Town Hall building with townspeople and adjacent buildings all in one shot.

81. Saving UpYou’ve earned 30,000 gold!
Hint: You will receive this gold star over the natural progression of Toy Box mode. You will likely receive this gold star while working towards obtaining all 103 of the gold stars. You will continuously make money over the course of Toy Box by doing any of the following:
★ Completing Town Missions
★ Mining Gold
★ Completing Picto Missions
You’ll likely get this star long after you have purchased everything in the shop. In fact, at some point money will become rather useless but you will still continue to make more simply for owning so many buildings and completing so many missions (with nothing to spend it on). At that point it will just be a matter of time before you obtain this gold star.
However, for those looking for a legitimate solution, try completing The Pig Finish boss mission. That mission alone rewards you with 25,000 coins which is more than enough to get you this gold star (or close to it).
Do NOT bother grinding for this one, it will come naturally over time. I had nearly 70,000 coins by the time I unlocked all 103 stars.
82. Sculpture GardenYou let 10 townspeople turn into stone!
Hint: After you complete the Sid’s Haunted House stage quest, Rex will occasionally inform you of Gargoyles attacking the town. 83. Sheriff of the FutureYou’ve completed all of Zurg's Spaceport missions!
Hint: For this gold star, you must complete all missions related to Zurg’s Spaceport. The first mission is where you climb the spaceport to retrieve the laser pistol. After you complete the spaceport stage, talk to Zurg again to receive more missions. You need to complete the following missions:
★ Future Town: Make the town hall and at least 3 townspeople look like they are from the future.
★ Renegade Alien: Find the renegade alien and throw him in jail.
After you complete these missions, you’ll need to talk to Stinky Pete. He will give you a mission called “Tinfoil Hats”. Simply pick up 3 townspeople, throw them into the tailor, and put tinfoil hats on them.
And finally, another mission you’ll need to complete is called “Photo of Zurg and Zurg Bots”. To receive it, talk to Wheezy. Complete missions for him until you receive the “Photo of Zurg and Zurg Bots” mission. You will need to take a photo of Zurg with his Zurg Bots also in the same shot. So go back to Zurg's Spaceport area and try to take a photo of Zurg facing toward you and his robots together. If you have trouble with this one, you can try hitting Zurg with shoulder tackles to get him closer to his robots before taking the photo. The gold star should then unlock at this point.
84. Space DeputyYou’ve zapped 5 Bandits with the Laser Pistol!
Hint: You must zap 5 bandits with the Laser Pistol retrieved from Zurg’s Spaceport. For more information, see “Space Sheriff”
85. Space ExplorerYou’ve found all the prize capsules inside the Spaceport!
Hint: You must find all 28 of the prize capsules inside of Zurg’s Spaceport stage. Purchase Zurg’s Spaceport for 5000 coins and the shutter door will open allowing you to enter. Once inside the new area, talk to Zurg and he will ask you to retrieve the Laser Pistol atop the Spaceport structure. Climb it by jumping and grabbing the yellow lights then jumping from moving platforms and wall jumping to the top to retrieve the pistol. You will then be transported to a Spaceport stage area where you’ll need to return power to a teleporter to make it back home. To keep track of the capsules you find inside the spaceport, click the link below and scroll down to the Zurg’s Spaceport section:
Toy Story 3 WalkthroughMissable Capsules:
★ Astronomy Globe (CP100) - After defeating the first set of Zurg Bots and using the 1st laser cannon, you’ll drop down and come to 4 rotating platforms with a Zurg bot in the middle. Turn left. It’s tucked away in the corner.
★ Spaceport Doors (CP107)- In the same room where you defeat waves of Zurg bots. It’s hidden behind the 2nd laser cannon you use
Before you exit the stage, make sure you receive this gold star. If you do not receive notification for unlocking it then that means you missed a prize capsule. So be sure to backtrack, use your checklist and pick up all 28 so that you don’t need to return to this stage again.
86. Space SheriffYou’ve zapped 10 Bandits with the Laser Pistol!
Hint: Once you have completed the Zurg’s Spaceport stage quest, you will unlock the Laser Pistol. To use it, press left or right on the d-pad and then select it from there by pressing

To keep track of them, click the link below and scroll down to the Sid’s Haunted House section:
Toy Story 3 WalkthroughThis is one of three “Customizer” gold stars and some tend to glitch on people despite obtaining all the necessary prize capsules. Remember to follow the steps in the spoiler guide above for this one. Segment your game saves, only save before and after obtaining every prize capsule in Sid’s Haunted House. Here are some of the related prize capsules that are easy to miss:
★ Vampire Hair: In the far back behind the Haunted House near a tree
★ Scary Zombie Outfit (Alien): Found by digging (press
) in the fresh grave to the right of the Haunted House
★ Doll Arm, Skull Walls, and Mummy Outfit (Alien): All found through a wooden door to the left of the Haunted House that leads to an underground crypt.
★ Poltergeist Outfit: Found behind a hidden door inside the Haunted House stage. After finding the 3 keys to open the room you start in. The hidden door is on the right just through the open pathway (where a Gargoyle enemy will spawn). Push the door forward and it’s on your left.
After you finish the Haunted House quest stage, use your Lightning Rod to open up the 5 Haunted Knight Chess pieces scattered all over town. They are located in the following areas:
1. Gothic Girl Hair (KN1) - At the Cliffside near a gold vein
2. Skeleton Outfit Alien (KN2) - At Slinky’s Farm behind the Barn

4. Gothic Girl Outfit (KN4) - At the back and very bottom of Donkey Mountain
5. Iron Maiden Doors (KN5) - The Suburbs at the end of the platforming section

See “Haunted Explorer” for more information.
89. Spooky SheriffYou’ve completed all of the Sid's Haunted House missions!
Hint: There are a total of 3 missions for Sid’s Haunted House and they are given to you by Rex and the Ghost Pirate. The first mission is to speak to Rex and obtain the lightning rod from on top the Haunted House. After you complete the Haunted House stage and exit the house, you can speak to Rex again and he’ll give you another mission. Here are the remaining missions you’ll need to complete for this star:
★ Scary Town: Make 3 people look scary, make the hat shop look spooky, and possess a townsperson with a ghost.
★ X Marks the Spot: Find the ghost pirate’s hidden treasure
For the final mission called “X Marks the Spot”, you will need to receive it from the Ghost Pirate. You can make him by throwing a townsperson into the shop and putting on the Pirate Outfit and Pirate Hat on him. After he comes out the shop, capture a ghost with your lightning rod by pressing
. Ghosts can usually be found around Sid's Haunted House area. After you capture the ghost, shoot it into the Pirate to possess him and turn him into a Ghost Pirate. Now talk to the Ghost Pirate to receive the last mission from him where you find some hidden treasure located near the Haunted House. Use your compass to show you the exact location, press

Tips: A quick and easy star you can get right at the start of Toy Box mode. From the Main Town simply walk over to the seaside and jump into the water repeatedly until this star unlocks. You just might unlock this through natural progression if you’re clumsy enough. While going for this you might as well throw some of the townspeople into the water with you for the “Swimming Lessons” gold star.
97. Wand WaverYou’ve given wings to 10 things!
Tips: You can obtain this gold star after you completed the Enchanted Glen Tree stage. Then simply pull out the magic wand, approach a townsperson, and press
to give them wings. Then repeat until this gold star unlocks.

Like Townspeople, you can also unlock and purchase Aliens from Al’s Toy Barn as well. After you complete so many missions various Alien characters will become available for purchase. Buying them will add more Alien characters to your town. Here are some of the aliens you can purchase and add to your town:

★ Lumberjack
★ Football Player
Overall, you will receive this gold star over the natural progression of Toy Box mode. You will likely receive this gold star while working towards the Toy Collector achievement.
99. Western CollectorYou’ve collected all the capsules in Woody’s Roundup!
Hint: For this gold star, you must gather all 289 prize capsules in all of Woody’s Roundup Toy Box mode. Please note that the capsules from Al’ Toy Barn on the gameboard do NOT count towards this. Only capsules that can be picked up within Toy Box mode will count towards this gold star. This is the ultimate gold star in the entire Toy Box mode, which is why you should try to unlock it as soon as possible! Do NOT save this gold star for last - get it early! There is a grand total of 289 prize capsules scattered throughout the entirety of Toy Box mode. Most are lying around in plain sight throughout all the Main Towns, Slinky’s Farm, Caves, Stunt Parks, and the Suburbs while others are related to the 3 bonus purchasable areas: Sid’s Haunted House, Lotso’s Enchanted Glen, and Zurg’s Spaceport. The full outline of prize capsules are as follows:

★ Zurg’s Spaceport: 46 related prize capsules
★ Lotso’s Enchanted Glen: 37 related prize capsules
★ Stunt Park Tracks: 37 prize capsules
If you followed the steps in the spoiler guide above, then you will unlock this gold star not too long into Toy Box mode. However, for those late to this guide, and who were unable to follow this guide upon first starting up their Toy Box, here are some obscure prize capsules you may have possibly missed:
★ (CP69) Dodgeball Outfit: Located above The Suburbs (picked up by pressing the Hotel button and jumping on the bed)
★ (CP123) Goo Doors: Located on a rail track in Donkey Mountain
★ (CP227) Hot Rod Doors: Located in the top cliffs area of the Stunt Park
★ (CP249) Goo Walls: Located above Town Hall (picked up by pressing the Hat Shop button and jumping on the Hat Sign)
★ There are 29 prize capsules you can get from the Candy Shop dispenser in the Suburbs by hitting the button atop the building repeatedly. If it starts to dispense coins then you should have all 29 of its capsules.
★ There is a set of 4 missable Incredibles capsules in Bandit Canyon. They are the “Dori Outfit”, “Eve Outfit”, Jackjack Outfit”, and “Dash Outfit” prize capsules. To get to them, wall-jump and grind to the top of Bandit Canyon. You will eventually come to the Bandit Hideout entrance door. To the left of that door is a pathway. The pathway will take you to a wall-jump area that will lead you to the 4 capsules.
★ There may be an off chance that some of the capsules inside the Rainbow Chests flew into obscure locations after blasting them with the Dragon’s fireballs. Try searching around the area and see if they home into you. ( e.g the Rainbow Outfit is a good example and could possibly fall into the water so jump into the seaside to see if it will home into you.)
If you already have the prize capsules listed above then once again double check every location, especially the Stunt Tracks. Don’t forget to open up your gold stars menu and check for the Explorer and Customizer gold stars to deduce which stars you definitely have or don’t have. If still no luck then perhaps it is glitched and it is recommended that you start over and follow the introduction to this solution EXACTLY. Then, you are guaranteed this achievement. It won’t take as long as you think to start over plus having already played through it previously, you’ll get back your progress rather quickly since you now have a better grasp of Toy Box mode and where everything is located. To start over without losing your progress and collectibles from Story Mode, select “New Toy Box” from the main menu and choose the second save slot. Don’t forget to keep a checklist of the prize capsules at ALL times. Good luck.
