Also, a little easier way for those just starting the game, just outside of the first stronghold you overtake for the Reapers there is a race mission.

X: 16980
Y: 9599

This race mission gives you a plane. As soon as the race starts, you are on top of a mountain, take your plane down into the river east of your starting point. This river is flat for over 2KM with no obstacles. After it counts off 30 sec on the low flyer countdown it should pop.

Also stupidly easy to do on the river / lake area by the Sawah River Sightseeing challenge (X: 27105, Y: 15452). Also important that you need to be holding down RT for the low flyer countdown to track. Just gliding will not start the progress.

Go to the airstrip that is in the demo next to Lembah Cerah. It's located at

X: 6650
Y: 25900

This plane is fairly slow and in the desert will be easy to fly close to the ground. Just follow a road that is pretty flat and don't crash into any trees. this plane can go pretty slow and easy to control.

After messing around with water for far too long I bought a maxed out Silverbolt at Kem Jalan Merpati (the airport at 9434, 28188), took it up to Peken Selamat, and flew the highway due north. This is the same road suggested by infinityemmo and it's perfect - straight, flat, long, and no trees. Desert for the win.

CANNOT fly for more than 10-15 seconds over water

Got 45 seconds flight time with this method.

south of the starting position after doing the first 2 missions there is a military airport that has a plane that u can hijack.

just fly low on the water and try not to go too low or u will crash sometimes it does not pick up that you are flying low.

The coordinates shown in the video for the starting point are NOT the actual location where Jeff/Jack flies. Before the edit, the arrow is at about X:13900, Y:27080, but if you look at the minimap during the actual achieving, they start off way west of there, at around X:3510, Y:27870.

First comment for many a year on this, i saw this recently and thought i'd give it a go since it was a pretty handy achievement for my 12 Days of Christmas challenge, although i hadn't even touched the game since i got an Xbox One more than six years ago, and slightly to my surprise, it worked perfectly
